Hi – I am 56 and lost my job today.  This is the second time in a year.  I have 20 years in healthcare.  This is the second time in a year this has happened…I am devastated and not sure what to do next.  I was terminated and through no fault of my own.

I have alot of contacts…I am in one of the worst states to have this happen…Florida.

Am  I too old to go to school.  I am really scared right now..confused and scared.  My husband died 6 years ago and it has been a roller coaster ride ever since.  I moved to Fl 2 years after he died…and I am feeling at my lowest point.especially with Christmas coming.  I have been crying all day and have no clue what to do.  My sister thinks I should call and ask to speak to the administrator…I don’t think that will help because he is real chummy with the 23 yr old gal who let me go today.  I have never been through anything like this…EVER!!!   I have begun to network…but I am really scared..at this age and with what this economy is doing.

How am i going to explain what happened on my next interview….I don’t want to lie!
