How often do you go to acupuncture?

I think acupuncture is terrific for both an overall sense of well-being as well as to take the edge of specific aches and pains. But it is expensive and time-consuming, and sometimes I wonder if the acupuncturist is overdoing it in terms of how often they want to see me. Do you think it can be effective once a week instead of the three a week I’ve been told? (Maybe this is a Los Angeles thing…Many of the the medical service providers often seem to go to extremes, it seems. On the other hand, no use going at all if going too seldom will be ineffective.)
