You can buy expensive anti-wrinkle face creams made with truffles and caviar, or you go to the fridge and find natural, edible ingredients, and just make your own. If all the big cosmetics companies can make anti-wrinkle face cream out of stuff you’d rather be eating, why can’t you?

Anti-wrinkle face cream recipe
Make your own anti-wrinkle face cream at home with lemon juice, an egg, cucumber extract and sodium benzoate (a type of salt). Separate the egg white from the yolk and discard the yolk. Mix one teaspoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon of rum (or brandy) and two teaspoons of sodium benzoate into the egg white. Add two tablespoons of cucumber extract to the solution. Place the mixture in a refrigerator for several minutes before spreading it on your face.

Make your own
Many natural products that you probably already have in your home may be used to fight wrinkles. Using one or more of these ingredients, you may create your own anti-wrinkle face cream recipe.

Honey is used by many Vibrant Nation members, but it’s only an effective anti-wrinkle cream if it’s applied to the face correctly. Wash your face with warm water to open pores before slathering a thin layer of honey all over your skin. Leave the honey on for 30 minutes before washing it off. Coconut oil, when massaged into skin, is also effective in fighting wrinkles.

Bananas and papayas may be mashed up and turned into anti-wrinkle face cream. After mashing the fruit to a paste-like consistency, spread it on your face and let it stand for 20 minutes or more before washing it away.

Other anti-wrinkle face creams
Making your own anti-wrinkle face cream may be a money-saver, but it’s also time-consuming (and, in some cases, kind of icky). You don’t have to age gracefully when you’re keeping your purse strings tight — some of the best anti-wrinkle face creams are very affordable. The top-selling, most highly-reviewed creams are priced for a consumer’s market. The high-end creams the stars use may work, but cosmetics companies know real consumers needs products they can purchase on a regular basis — and those products are available.

If you still want to gravitate toward natural anti-wrinkle face creams, you’ll still find plenty of affordable options. Many cosmetics companies make all-natural, all-organic and animal testing-free products, giving you plenty of options when it comes to fighting the signs of age.
