| When I turned 50 |
My favorite bra, blue jeans and panties were all discontinued! These are essentials of my life. We’re not talking the niceties of feminity like should I tweeze or wax!
It was a year of despairation purchasing before I found a pair of jeans I’d buy twice, and a year and a half before I found a bra the twins could live with. I’m still working on the panties.

I gave up wheat and sugar in my early twenties and except for social occasions where pizza or pasta or birthday cake are served, or the long hike that earns me a piece of chocolate, I've stuck with that plan. I'm not a naturally lean person, which

Oh I know. That has happened to me so many times over the years. Right now I’m faced with trying to find a bra that enhances what I’ve got left. I don’t know how to solve the problem. I don’t want to feel like I’m trussed up in straight jacket with wires and padding. I found some jeans. They are Levis, made for slimming, stretch so they are very comfortable but they still look like Levis. I’m good on underwear. They are Sears Satin stretch and have high leg line but cover really good and don’t look like “my” grannies underwear. You know what? This is so great that these are some of our major concerns. So menial compared to other trials and tribulations in past years of our lives, right?
You got that right DM…..I was wondering about those levis…..where does the waist hit? I don’t like them right at my waist, just a little below at my belly button or an inch or so lower…good on the Sears undies….I was on the search yesterday but didn’t find anything that I really liked….I am tossing everything and getting all new…I am way overdue on that…..
The Levis are perfectly slimming 512, mid rise, boot cut. I think they come in straight leg, black and different shades of blue. Hope you find something.
