What I would wear to the White House for dinner if I were invited Hot Conversation

I would be so thrilled to be invited! Hopefully, Michelle would be there. I’d be in awe of just being in her presence, because I think she’s such an amazing role model.

I would wear something very simple. I would not wear pearls. I would definitely wear heels. So I would wear black heels and maybe a black dress and then I’d put on some sort of a jacket over it that was not black so I wouldn’t look like I was in a shroud.

And I’d wear mascara and lipstick and no perfume. I used to wear perfume, but a lot of people don’t like perfume.

And I don’t wear much jewelry anymore at all, because I feel like a Christmas tree with ornaments on it, except, like, a month later, when all the needles have dried up and fallen off but the ornaments are still there.

So I don’t do jewelry.

Simple and classic is the way to go and definately heels. I agree on the natural makeup and a good hair cut styled to perfection is best.

For colours navy blue is not as harsh as black and a pale rose blush coloured jacket to bring colour to your face.

It would be the Gala of the year to be sure.  Now, what would you wear if you weren’t invited and just showed up with date in tow.  A red dress?  Wasn’t that interesting?

Are u sure you want to visit the Obamas?  Most of your posts are against this couple.  The White House is everybody’s house but they are presently the hosts of this event.

Well, that depends on the occasion.  If it were a picnic for the 4th of July i would definitely wear linen white pants ankle length and a nice, sexy but not crude blouse and yes, it can be red – i already took care of the white and the red, now i have to figure out the blue, since I do love jewelry but not expensive stuff; i may wear a nice navy necklace with matching earrings.  I prefer v necks because anything else makes me look chubby and God blessed me with a long neck, thank U Lord!   The rest of my bod i have to play with :)   Shoes for this event?  Yikes, not high heels on a picnic… what is chic and yet casual? Flats are not my style so it has to be a nice pair of sandals maybe white or navy w/the matching bag… and don’t forget the hat for the sun and nice sunglasses.  Can u tell that i live in So Flo?

Good choices!!  I hope when “we” get our invites (I would be stoked), that it’s formal.  I have a great red dress with an angled hem, with silver accents, so I’ll have on sliver jewelry, clear heels with silver accents as well (all about the bling!)….I’ll pick you up ;-)
