Where is the cruise going to? For an Alaskan cruise you would want warmer clothes than to the Bahamas!
Here is an idea of what to pack for a northern cruise:
Comfortable, casual clothes for sight seeing in port.
Comfortable clothes- maybe even more casual for the days you stay on the ship.
A warmer jacket than you you’ll think you’ll need.
Wool socks- yes, wool socks. Believe me, when the temps are cold and the wind is blowing and it’s raining, and you’re out on deck for hours staring at icebergs, you’ll thank me!
For dinners, most nights I wore dress pants with nice tops. I think I mixed and matched 2 pants with 3 tops. I also brought one formal cocktail length dress for the captains dinner.
Bathing suit
Pajamas
Comfortable shoes.
Make sure though that you have enough clothes for the time you will be on the cruise. The laudry service charges a fortune!
