I have shopped at Tall Girl and worked there for the last 2years – until they went under. Anyone else out there an ex-Tall Girl employee or customers?

I shopped at Shelleys Tall Girl about 35 years ago. I loved the clothes. They were bigger sizes without looking all frumpy. Back then stores didn’t have plus size departments like they do now. But they haven’t been around this area for probably 30 years now. Sorry you lost your job.
Where/What is Shelleys? We were bought out by a English company called Long Tall Sally – so hopefully they will re-open in this area soon.
The name was Shelley’s Tall Girl and they were in the shopping mall in Montclair, California. If they reopen will you get your job back?
Yes – but it wouldn’t be opening for awhile. I am going to take off a few months and then try to decide what I want to be when I grow up.
I think we had a Tall Girl in L.A. – but it went into liquidation the end of Sept. Are you tall – do you have a hard time finding clothes that are long enough?
It is such a pain. Everything seems to be made for size 2 woman – or a teenager – it is hard to find age appropriate clothing – that is fashionable.
April, I am in New York and I use Ashley Stewart and Lane Bryant and Avenue. 6 feet tall and a size 18-20. AshleyStewart jeans, i like very much. They have 2% spanex in all jeans. Soft Surroundings mail order. Hope this helps. Every store online.

I live in Canada – but I will check this out online. Thanks for the info. I am always looking for jeans – especially ones that are long enough – my inseam is 37″ – and that is hard to find.
Thanks
Lynn
