Oh ye poor aged ones!

Today I received an email from Prevention magazines with an article about the (according to the author) top ten celebrities who defy their age. I’m thinking, Meryl and Helen ah but no, it’s Selma and Jennifer both 45 or younger. I don’t know about you but these women, though lovely, have not lived long enough to have suffered the horrible ravages of time. No wonder we all suffer such angst at getting older. I am really disappointed with Prevention and intend to tell them so.

It’s kind of like when they use 20-year-olds to advertise wrinkle creams, isn’t it?

It is and it is insulting. I unsubscribed but not until I told them what I thought. I’m not taking it anymore. Whenever this type of thing happens in the future, I will find a way to express myself.
