But on my toenails, I have a coloured gel applied at the salon ... like the gel they use to shape fake fingernails. Once cured, it is super strong and durable, and comes in a good range of colours. People always comment how shiny it is -like car duco! It stands up to the kind of beating busy feet get (yes, mine are usually in Birkies, too) and because your toenails grow much slower than your fingernails, it's not as high-mainteance as you think. Note though, I'm blessed with a daughter who's a nail technician, so I get special (and free) nail advice and treatments. I love OPI polishes, too. However, I've never found anything thus far that will wear beyond about 4 weeks.
