I would always wash my face/redo my makeup during the day before I started using Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals. Now, I put it on in the morning and at the end of the day, it still looks great! My husband has come home at the end of the day and told me that my skin/makeup looks fantastic.
I right there with Jackie….Bare Minerals – the best!
Hi May, I am a make up artist and just know many women feel the same way. Just remember good makeup starts with good skin care. As we age we certainly loose the moisture, elastisity and glow. Remember to use skin care, cleanser, toner, mosisturizer and exfoliator that is for your skin type. THEN a great thing to invest in is a makeup primer. Good primers help to smooth your skin, and prepare your face for makeup. Use foundation too that is for your skin type. If you use liquid, set the foundation with a light powder. So much depend on your climate and environment too…Mineral Powders aren’t always the best for aging women. Look for one that is ‘less’ light reflective. If it’s too ‘glowy’ it can actually accentuate lines and wrinkles, but again, if done right, it’s simple and works great. I like a more moist foundation, so I use liquid and MP and it gives an airbrushed look and still feels light.
