Sorry I think you are a bit vague on what you want.  Hair style, makeup, clothing?

A hairstylist you trust should be able to help, plus by now most women know what hairstyle does and does not look good on them, maybe a different color or highlights to just update what you have.

Makeup, haristylists are also trained in this.  Or a skin specialist.  Again most consults are free.  Be careful of the mall look.  Some of those makeup specialist send you out looking a bit like a clown.  Softer eye colors, blush and lip color are much more age fitting for us.

Clothing is another issue.  There are color consultants that can help you find what color palette you are.  Then you can go out and pick those colors.  They usually complement each other.  Now styles is another thing.   Are you professional, sporty, casual?   You need to decide what your body type is, and dress accordingly also.  Some of the smaller clothing stores, like Dress Barn, Fashion Bug, will be willing to give you the time to put a few outfits together.  I actually have had great luck by doing a search on the internet.
Hope this gives you some food for thought.

Check out magazines, Shoppers Drug Mart has an e-zine “top Picks” take a look thru that.  Take a peek in the cosmetics department of a department store — what are the ladies wearing, what hair styles/make-up.

Christopher Hopkins, “The Makeover Guy”, has a website with videos of makeovers.  He specializes in women over 40.  He also has a great book, “Staging Your Comeback” which you can buy on his website, but I believe it is cheaper at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Staging-Your-Comeback-Complete-Revival/dp/0757306349.
While some of his makeover “before” pictures obviously over-emphasise the negative, on the whole he offers lots of good advice about hair and make-up.  He also goes into clothing, but I suggest Brenda Kinsel for clothing ideas.  She also has books on Amazon, and here is a link to her website: http://www.brendakinsel.com/.  “In the Dressing Room with Brenda” is a really good book for women of all ages.  I re-read it every couple of years or so when I get off-track.  :)
I have been reading fashion books for years, and Brenda really is probably the most helpful of all the “experts” I have read.  And I believe Christopher Hopkins really is passionate about helping women find their true beauty, with easy to manage tips.
    Hope this helps!
