I had a tummy tuck 12 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. Being 5 ft tall, when I had my babies my tummy got very stretched out and no amount of situps was going to change that. It is a pretty tough surgery and long recovery with a scar from hip to hip but I am so glad I did it. I am petite and now I can where cute pants and skirts and not have to deal with that flabby gut!!!

if you go online and google tummy tuck I think you should be able to see before and after pictures. My scar has faded and you can barely see it. I never thought I would ever wear a bikini again and I DID! My sister had one with a different surgeon and she did get a keloid on her incision. She also has put on weight and has a poochy tummy again. I have worked my butt off ever since because after all I went thru to get a flat tummy I have been determined to keep it that way. So I say if you want it…GO FOR IT!! Just plan to have some good books to read and take it easy and follow your doctor’s orders!!! You will be so happy you did it.

I want a body lift, and life style lift. But it won’t happen unless I win some sort of makeover!! It’s way to expensive. I would choose a specialist on each of the areas I’d like sculpted and then go to surgery with a big smile on my face.
Yeah, thats what I really meant. I am so saving up! I’ve been researching Drs. I have started with 500 of them and working my way down.
BJ you have a real chore ahead of you to find and be comfortable with the doc you choose. I think I’d like to go to Dr. Rey, remember he’s the doc that is on 90210 on TV, at least for the boob job. I often wonder if there is a science as to what part of the body should be done first. You know, if you have a face lift before a boob job does the face lift change (lol)? Anyway, I’ll just keep dreaming and make peace with what I have. I guess it’s must not be too bad, I still get flirted with. But construction workers don’t whistle at me anymore.

Ladies, ladies, i told you STRAX. All the doctors are certified and from the best ivy league schools. All their credentials are on the lobby wall. You can pick and choose which doctor will do u. And since the economy is so bad, they are having great specials…if a tummy tuck was $8K now is $4K. That is your best bet. Strax is in many states, here in Ft Lauderdale FL is the one i go to. I want a few things done. I want to do my upper eyelids, tighten my arms, and body sculping. But i just joined again my personal trainer. If after March i get results but can still improve by a little surgery, i will do it. I did a face lift at 54 and my boss told me that there was no difference in my appearance, so it was very subtle. But it is now that such a surgery is showing results because i read somewhere that you have to do the surgery when it is not so harsh… i just turned 59 and nobody believes me. Hey ladies…. we should band together and see what they would do on a group rate. Possibly even better. I would love a tummy tuck and some lipo. This aging thing is NOT pretty. Did you see the pic of 70 yr old Tina Turner in the AARP mag? OMG she is loo king in her 40′s and still in stillettos. Too Much! Definately a dream though.
