When my 26 year marriage fell apart, I tried not to fall apart, too. I probably internalized the stress – not good!
I take care of myself, eat healthy foods, still have my youthful figure, so I was surprised to find that I losing my hair. Especially at the crown, it became so thin you could easily see my scalp. I was very conscious of it all the time.
Yes, I tried all sorts of creams and even laser treatments before I realized that the hair loss was permanent and that I’d just have to deal with it. Hey, we’re in our fifties, and everything changes.
So, I listened to a good friend who suggested that I buy a “topper.” They make little hair pieces that clip in and blend so well that you’ll fool everyone (who hasn’t seen you lately). But the best is that YOU will feel better because you’ll like your new look! I first tried the cheaper synthetic hair piece, then I moved up to the real hair piece. They are worth it because YOU are worth it. Good luck!
