Let’s start off with the following disclaimer: The title of this post is about as likely to occur as being

Just for fun, I tried to try on a pair of skinny jeans. I put one leg in and that was all I could stand. I had a nice little chuckle and like you, went for the boot cut. I think one needs to be very young and have a body of a toothpick to look decent in this type of jean.
I’m pretty average in weight. However, I do like to use the skinny jeans in place of leggings, for the same look. I’ve tried, but I just don’t feel comfortable in leggings unless I’m around the house or going to exercise. lol
you have to try at least 20-25 pairs in order to find one that does the trick. I found such pair at Kohls from Vera Wang in petites too!
Now i have to find a bra that will diminish my Lolas. I am beginning to think that i should have them reduced. 38DD is not a good size for me.
Yup! ‘Simply Vera’ worked for me, too.
I prefer a good, heavy cotton legging with a long top. This gives the same look, the illusion of skinny. You will be more comfy also. Put on a chunky sock and a short boot -voila! the skinny look moves into fall. Wear heeled boots or clogs to be taller, cuz yes, the skinny pants do look better on a tall stature.
Well , I am short and have chunky, umph…shapley legs…..no shoe, boot etc., will ever make my legs look longer….not to mention leaner…in fact, working out just makes the calf muscles pop out more….=] anyway, skinny anything do not work for me…..are haram pants coming back in??????=]
I bought leggings to replace ones I threw out a few years ago before long tunics were in. Leggings look cute with long tunics. They are much more comfortable than skinny jeans.
Bought a pair of jeggings (jeans/leggings) by Hue in the leggings dept. for $35 many months ago. Hubby said he spied my camel toe. Went to Gap, bought a long white shirt that covers the offending body part. Still too chicken to wear out of the house. Also fear tight girdl-y fit crossed with a possible urgent bathroom need could lead to weggings (wet leggings). Bought more practical stretch jeans with boot cut but am so used to seeing skinny worn everywhere, that boot cut looks as dated as a bell bottom (heaven forbid). Opened the seams of the boot cut to see if I could reduce the size of the bell. Double jean layers don’t fit in my sewing machine. Now the stretch jeans are sitting in my closet with pins all along the sides covered up by the pair of Hue jeggings with the tag still on. Now I understand why old people wear sweats 24/7. I’m looking forward to that.
