The trouble is, you have to have a Hollywood-size paycheck in order to enjoy it for yourself. Does the cream work well enough to command such a high price?

Costly facial treatments
The new cream, The Count of St Germain, has been launched by Angel & Weightman. Named for the 17th-century alchemist, the cream is made of minerals, nutrients, botanical ingredients, vitamins, collagen and enzymes. Even stem cell research plays a part in the formula. According to the legends, St. Germain had the secret of eternal youth. But if you’re going to bank on folklore, it doesn’t hurt to have strong science to back it up.
The expensive anti-wrinkle face cream is designed to change your skin at the cellular level, defeating aging at the deepest part of your skin. According the Sandra Rothberg, head of product development at Angel & Weightman, the cream was initially developed for a single, very wealthy client. “She was so pleased with the results that she gave us permission to market the formula,” said Rothberg.

And if the price tag makes you wince, you should know there are some altruistic motivations at work. For every sale of the anti-wrinkle face cream, the company will donate a portion of its profits to charities that help women in need. The Count of St Germain is currently available online. Is affordable the wiser choice?

This is utterly ridiculous. There is nothing in the ingredients of this face cream that you can’t find in other less expensive (much less expensive) face creams. Minerals, enzymes, antioxidants are common place in anti aging face creams today. Research has shown these ingredients are necessary to combat the signs of aging. They claim this cream provides treatment at the cellular level? That is questionable since Over the counter creams are considered Cosmetics, not medications. Even the most expensive face creams (cosmetics) are absorbed to a point and then the rest is wasted, washed away, rubbed off, and just sitting on top of the skin. Many of the benefits of these topicol face creams is of it’s effect on the outer layer of the skin and most never reache cellular level.
