My favorite lipstick right now is Dior Addict. (doesn’t that sound HORRIBLE?)
I use color #583 which is a beautiful shimmery pink that blends perfectly with my coloring. (I have very fair skin, green eyes and blond hair).
I like it because the color lasts, it stays smooth and not bumpy or chunky, and the color is so pretty.
I used to swear only by Chanel lipsticks, which I still like, but this Dior Addict has trumped Chanel, at least for the time being.

I’m loving Yves Saint Laurent. A friend gave it to me as a gift and said it was perfect for blonds. #59 Golden Melon. Pale orange with shimmery gold. Lovely with a summer tan.
Tom Ford, I cannot lie! If you want to see them in person, there are only carried in a few stores like Saks in NYC.
But if you want to spend $48 on a lipstick, just jump in the pool and pick a color. You won’t be disappointed!
$48.00 for a tube of lifstick? Seriously??? Unfortunately, not on my income!! I buy $1.00 lipstick and it works pretty well for me!!!
I eat, lick off my lipstick so i go for the long lasting. The last one I tried was very drying. Any help?
Yes, and one is actually Maybelline (excuse me: Maybelline New York). I left them home today – but I’ll check the names when I go home tonight. They really last a long time – and they are not dry as dust like the few I tried before! I’ll get back to you!
Haralee, One pretty good lipstick is Este Lauder’s Pure Color gloss. I got a free sample and it stays on and is very moist. I have another one – but I haven’t seen it since getting back from vacation. I looked last night and no luck so far. I’ll keep looking and let you know if I find it – it’s a drug store inexpensive brand – but it’s very good. I’m pretty sure it’s Maybelline -
Thanks Robin, I will check out the drug store or Target.
I used ( 1989-1993) to wear mood lipstick that was about $1.00 and it stayed on forever. I saw it listed in the Vermont Country Store catalog for over $15.00!
