De-Aging Creams + Serums

As a top beauty editor and advocate for our 50+ demo, the # 1 question women ask me now is if they really need  a de-aging serum and a cream…and if so should they stick to one brand ?

The truth is yes, you do get better results layering a cream over a serum. So do yourself a favor and buy both.

And yes, buying a duo designed to work together guarantees the right combo of ingredients, in the right proportions, textures that are in sync and minimal chance of sensitivity.

  1. Apply the serum first- it’s light, silky, absorbs quickly and has  a higher degree of active ingredients.
  2. Follow with a cream to reinforce the serum and add extra hydration.
  3. Make this an AM and PM ritual.

My favorites now are L’ Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Concentrated Serum ( $24.99) and L’ Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Deep Acting Moisturizer ( $24.99).

Both plump up lines with hyaluronic acid and Pro-Xylane so your skin looks firm, juicy and smooth. LOVE THIS DUO and know you will too!

Loving the new Avon wrinkle reducing serum from their Anew line. (Disclosure, I sell Avon). I got to get some early and tried it, after about 6 weeks I saw a noticeable difference, and after 8 weeks, hubby asked if I had a new concealer…right after I had showered. Hubby is a nice guy, not incredibly observant. Pointed out that I still had dripping wet hair, I clearly hadn’t done my makeup. His response was “Oh, well your eyes look really good”. I use it with the Anew moisturizer and Neutrogena sunscreen.
