I just consulted a well regarded cosmetic surgeon about getting a neck lift. It is a little more involved than I thought it would be. I had a nose job 20 years ago and that was not a real fun time so I’m not real eager for more cosmetic surgery, but my neck really does need work. Anyone been through this procedure? If so, I’d like to hear about your experience.

I had a partial facelift (years ago), after seeing the remarkable change in a friend of mine. She had it “all” done and looked twenty years younger. Her beautifully sculpted neck and jaw line blew me away!
If you have researched your plastic surgeon, thoroughly (!), I would say go for it! The neck area can be particularly saggy and aging, followed by bags and darkness around the eyes! My surgeon erased both of those problems, for me, and fifteen years later, I still show signs of surgery well done!
If you plan this all out, carefully, for the ‘before and after’ surgery, you will do much better. Having a caretaker that first week is sooo important!
Good luck to you!
I had a neck lift (I suppose that is what it would be called). I had several extra chins & a turkey neck smoothed. This was done 12/2011 at a Scottsdale/Phoenix Plastic Surgery Center. While I was at it I had my forehead lifted to rid the “scowl” wrinkles, & face smoothed along with Pheno peel around eyes & mouth. & ~~ As if I didn’t think that I had enough with all of that, I also had both upper & lower arm reductions done at the same time. I had lost 100 pounds & just wanted to look closer to how great I feel. I guess I look younger @65 but the best is I feel younger. I do not have the real close up before pics that were taken prior to my procedures as my surgeon is waiting for me to return to AZ for my followup appoint in Nov & then I will ask for them. I have pics from immediately after my multi-procedure & I was a bit scary looking. Actually so little pain involved after everything. I would do it again in a heart beat.
