Best cosmetics for age spots? Hot Conversation

I am at a loss as to the best cosmetics for those awful “age spots.” I am 58 and not filthy rich. Who has had luck with a reasonably priced product? Help?

Oh thanks for info, I have read about their line, now I have a reference.  As for photo, you look great, I’d guess 50? I’m 58 and you are certainly younger than me!

I’ve just been reading about the “amazing” liver cleanse recommended by alternative medical practitioner Andreas Moritz, who has written several books on the subject. Some people I know have done this with great results. I did the cleanse last week and was amazed at the little gallstones that came out. These were blocking bile ducts in the liver. By keeping the liver tuned up, this is supposed to cure liver spots. You might want to look into it. You do it in the comfort of your own home, and there’s no expense involved, except to buy Epsom salts (in case you don’t have any on hand), some fruit and black walnut hull extract. Here’s a link to the book: http://www.amazon.com/Liver-Gallbladder-Miracle-Cleanse-All-Natural/dp/1569756066/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235232314&sr=1-1

    Cheers!

See a dermatologist, there is a laser treatment that takes care of that. And, stay out of the sun.

Well, as I mentioned, I don’t have alot of money, I’m 58, with MS, and Medicaire, my Dermatologist won’t class this as “medically necessary” so insurance won’t pay, and quite frankly, I don’t want taxpayers paying to remove my liver spots, haha.  Still looking for that great cheap cream, lotion, or home remedy that Grandma passed down….Thanks though.

All ideas gratefully accepted.  Ciao for now. A

      PS:

As I recall, my Mum used to use lemon squeezings, and Rose Water with Glycerine.  She had the most gorgeous soft unmarked Scottish skin at 70, with nary a blemish…but, in her day, nice ladies NEVER went in to the sun without a large hat!!!  Me, I was outdoorsy, and had an organic farm, and raised sheep for spinning wool and knitting….ah what our Grandmother’s would say now!  “Yurrr skin is goin to luk like a bloody prrrune afore yurrrr forrrty, and no man will ever luk atcha agin…” I miss her.

I’m from “up North”…but, I remember both of my grandmas having very soft skin-and one spent a ton of time in the sun, half of the year in FL=and I never remember her wearing a hat…maybe diet has so much to  do with all the “old skin” these days-along with air pollution, and all those other toxins.

I have seen signifigant results on many of my clients with Murad Vitamin C complex. Also, always remember that Vit-C turns back time.  Trish McEvoy makes a great Vit-C cream. both are about $60.
