Animal testing

Just in case you wonder about the beauty products you use and the way they are brought to market, check out PETA’s website. I’m no fanatic about animal testing and understand trying out medicines and other serious treatments on animals before humans. But I absolutely don’t need any animal to suffer so that I can have a better face cream or a more long-lasting mascara. When more of us care, the products will be labeled as “not tested on animals.” When more of us only buy those products, more companies will stop inflicting the agonizing pain and suffering so needlessly.

I absolutely agree.  I wish the drug stores would have a section set aside for all the products that do not use animal testing so you don’t need to hunt all over for the ones that do.  I can say that some grocery stores in my area do have their health section set aside from the other stuff so it does make it easier.

The VN home page was full of ads for a company that is #2 on the offensive list, so I’m hoping that some of our readers will check. I didn’t want to be too blatant, as I know advertisers aren’t easy to come by.
