How do I log in to VibrantNation.com?
1. Go to http://www.vibrantnation.com
2. Click the green “Member Login” link in the upper right hand corner
3. Enter your email address
4. In the password space, type your password
5. Click the Log In button

How do I start a new conversation on Vibrant Nation?
1. Log in to VibrantNation.com.
2. Click on our home page or any of our Categories via the tabs at the top of the screen, for example: Fashion & Beauty or Health & Fitness.
3. You’ll see a yellow box that allows you to start a conversation. Add your title to the Subject field, add your thoughts/question/recommendation to the field under the words, “What’s on your mind?”
4. Click the Submit button.
5. To see the post once it’s been submitted, click on the All Posts link on the left hand side of the page.

How can I get notifications on conversations at Vibrant Nation?
If you comment on a conversation and you DO NOT remove the checkmark next to “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” (located below the Post Comment button), then you will automatically receive email updates when others post to the conversation.

If you wish to receive email updates without commenting:
1. Log in to VibrantNation.com.
2. Click on the conversation you’d like to subscribe to, and scroll to the bottom.
4. Click the Subscribe button under “Subscribe without commenting.”
5. Anytime you comment to any thread, you’ll be subscribed and receive email updates when someone else comments.

How do I unsubscribe from comment notifications?
1. Log in to VibrantNation.com.
2. Click on the conversation you’d like to unsubscribe from. (Click on My Profile in the upper right hand corner of the site to see a list of conversations you’ve posted in.)
3. Scroll to the bottom of the conversation and click on the link that says, “You are subscribed to this entry. Manage your subscriptions.”
4. Check the box next to the conversation from which you wish to unsubscribe.
5. Click the “Remove Selected Subscription(s)” button.

I forgot my password or need to change it. What do I do?
Select the lost password link on the login page or click on the My Account tab at the top of the home page.

If you know your password but wish to change it to something else:
1. First, log in to VibrantNation.com.
2. Click on My Account in the upper right hand corner.
3. Scroll down to where it says New Password on the left
4. Type your new password in both boxes
5. Scroll down and click the Update button

Where can I see my comment after I click the Submit button?
Once you click the Submit button, your comment will within the conversation. If it doesn’t happen immediately, just wait a few seconds and refresh the page. Do not repeatedly click the submit button, as that will result in multiple posts.

How can I find a previous comment I’ve made?
Log in to VibrantNation.com.
Click on My Profile in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Scroll down to find a list of conversations you’ve started and below that, a list of comments you’ve made.

Is there some kind of filter on what gets posted?
We have instantaneous posting, which means that sometimes a post that is not up to our community standards is seen by others before one of our VN staff members removes it. If there is an inappropriate or undesirable post, please report it by sending an email to info@vibrantnation.com.

How do I delete a post?
You can’t delete a post once you’ve clicked “Submit” or “Post comment.” Vibrant Nation does not delete posts unless they run counter to our Community Guidelines; however, you can make your comments anonymous by changing your member name and photo so others will not know what you’ve posted.

How do I unsubscribe from VN newsletters?
To stop receiving VN newsletters, simply log in and go to your my account page. There, you’ll be able to select and deselect individual newsletters. Be sure to click the update profile button when you’re finished. (Please note that clicking unsubscribe on an email does not unsubscribe you from all emails, only that particular send.)

How can I cancel my VN membership?
If you no longer wish to receive VN newsletters, you can cancel your VN membership by sending an email to info@vibrantnation.com. Please let us know why you wish to cancel your membership so we can continue to improve the VN member experience.

How do I edit my profile?
Log in to VibrantNation.com.
Click on the My Account tab or the My Account link at the top of the page.
Click Edit My Profile under the My Account line in the middle of the page.
Add or delete the text you’d like.
Click the Update button at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the My Public Profile link to view your results.

How do I change my Member Name?
Log in to VibrantNation.com.
Click on the My Account tab or the My Account link at the top of the page.
Change the text in the My Member Name field.
Click the Update button at the bottom of the screen.

How do I change my photo?
Log in to VibrantNation.com.
Click on the My Account tab or the My Account link at the top of the page.
Scroll to the bottom and click the Browse button. Locate the photo on your hard drive and click it.
Click Open.
Click the Update button at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the My Public Profile link to view your results.

(Note: If your photo doesn’t update, it’s probably due to file type or size. The photo must be smaller than 2M. For best results, use a .png file. For help with this task, email info@vibrantnation.com)

How does the site make money?
Vibrant Nation offers you all of the benefits of our community for free, but managing an online community (and presenting editorial newsletters you enjoy) costs a lot of money. To pay our bills, Vibrant Nation seeks to make money in several different ways.

First, we sell affordable guides written by experts who are also Vibrant Women themselves. The guides relate to topics unique to the lives of women over 50, like having the best possible sex life after 50, managing menopause symptons, and finding the best cosmetics for your skin at midlife.

Second, we solicit advertisers and sponsors who want to reach the dynamic, Vibrant Women who gather on our site. While advertising partnerships are each different, VN generally receives money either when you see the advertisement or when you click on it. Advertisers are always clearly identified.

Third, we organize events where Vibrant Women can gather offline to enjoy the same connections and benefits they gain from gathering on our site. To date, we have organized 3-day events facilitated by Dr. Carol Orsborn.

Can people advertise their own products or services for free in their postings?
We do not allow advertising disguised as editorial, as our members tell us they don’t like to read sales pitches during a conversation. However, feel free to talk about your product or company on your profile page. To complete your profile:

1. Log in to Vibrant Nation.
2. Click My Account in the upper right hand corner of the site.
2. Click Edit My Profile in the middle of the page under My Account.
3. Make changes to your profile and then click Update at that very bottom of the page.

Do you sell or share the names of our members?
No. Never. The only people who would ever see or have access to your real name and email address are the in-house VN staff members, for the purposes of sending your newsletter(s) and other communications between you and VN. You can be totally anonymous, if you wish, by coming up with a member name that has nothing to do with your real name.

As long as you don’t post your email address yourself, you can’t and won’t be contacted by another member.

The newsletter might have been trapped in your Junk folder or Spam folder. Move it to the Inbox to reactivate the links.
