WHAT A GOOD FAMILY REUNION CAN OFFER

 A FAMILY’S GUIDE TO HAPPINESS

                    “PRAYER”

It is the greatest power on earth.

I love to meditate and communicate with the Creator.

                      LOVE

It is a GOD –given privilege.

Love is the glue to hold everything worthwhile together.

                 READ

It is the fountain of wisdom

Reading saved me as a child, took me where I could not go.

                   THINK

It is the source of power

I finally learned how to use it… and shutting it off  a  few minutes several times a day …is refreshing.

             BE FRIENDLY

It is the road to happiness.

Being friendly unusually “always” brings friendliness in return.

                          GIVE

It is too short a day to be selfish

Giving brings joy and an opportunity to express and share it with someone else,

                          LAUGH

It is the music of the soul

Laughing with someone is music, laughing at someone can be cruel

                               WORK

It is the price of success

The ability to work at what you love is rewarding

                       SAVE

It is the secret of security

The Tina Turner Lesson has been a good incentive

For me individually, to save

THE JOURNEY OF LIFE

The road to success is not straight

There is a curve called Failure

A loop called Confusion,

Speed bumps called Friends

Red lights called Enemies

Caution lights called Family

You will have flats called jobs.

But if you have a spare called Determination

An Engine called Perseverance

Insurance called Faith

A driver called Love,

You will make it to a place call

Success.

I thought this POST would be good reading for the week coming up for you ladies I enjoyed reading it and adding to its content as it was a part of a family reunion  brochure of my husbands family several years again ,,,

I found it uplifting!! As I had asked that family reunions become more of a learning and positive venue instead of the same ole eat and party and nothing to take with you but  faint memories of old good times and strong ones of bad times….this way it gives you a  great outlook on life and what it has to offer.
