“Well-bred but not dead”

My mother was living in Mendocino, California, back in the 1980s and thought it would be fun to put a personals ad in the local newspaper. She never actually ran it, but here’s what she wrote: “Well-bred but not dead. Looking for the one relationship you haven’t had yet: a mature one. North coast preferred.” <grin>
