| Volunteering on Vancouver Island |
Recently Did the big move to Vancouver Island , and would like to meet people, Thought to do volunteering, any ideas from other Islanders?

The toughest part for me, as an adult who has put my difficult childhood behind me, is dealing with family members who are in denial about anything being amiss about how we were raised and the impact this has had on our on-going relationships.

i have a place in victoria on vancouver island, i love it, and want to eventuall want to settle there. if you’re into the art they have a great art gallery, or the museum, or i would try either of the hospitals. you might try any of the women’s or senior centres, i know that here in north vancouver, they are always looking for volunteers. have fun on your new adventure.
