When you say central FL, what area are you referring to?
Near Lake Mary area. I am looking for a position with a retirment community in management. I have over ten years in social services and four as a professional personal assistant.
I am in South Florida. A new career on what? In my opinion Florida is not a place to start a new career. We have high unemployment. I have always said that if you are coming to Florida, come with a good amount of money, because here you may find cheap housing if you have the funds right then and there. But to start from scratch? Except if you can start your own business on something that is needed. And what can that be?
What kid of career are you looking for? I live on the First Coast. Jobs are basically non existant. I say to people all the time that think they want to move here, make sure you have a job FIRST. I moved here in 1994. I say to people all the time “Living here is not like being on vacation here”.
I would love it if you would be more specific on the kind of job you want and where you think you mihght want to live. Then I think some of us could be more helpful.
