Ummm…really loved the story, “Kentucky”. I felt like I was right there with you…a little piece of history that represents millions of Americans. Sweet!

Thanks Evie.  I think you said it correctly. I know there were millions of people doing the right thing. I’m so pleased I got to hear one of the stories…

I love making human connections–especially with the elderly. I truly believe that their purpose is to teach us. I hope we’re all open to learning. Thanks for sharing that.

Thank you for sharing this sweet story.  You probably made his day by allowing him to speak of the past & of the things he had done for others, just as much as he enriched your day (and now ours as well).  Very often the elderly are quite lonely & need to have someone to connect with – so make it a habit to meet up with him when you can & share some time together.

Committing selfless acts of kindness are always a good thing :)

What a great person Mr. Lloyd/North Carolina sounds like, Dr. She – and what a great conversation you were privileged to have with him today. Thanks for sharing it with us. This was a wonderful example of how selfless acts often help everyone, including the person who committed that selfless act.
