This afternoon I went to a Champagne Brunch at a girlfriend’s house. There were 12 women there and we were all in our mid 50′s. Everyone brought a dish or a beverage and we had a great time socializing. The hostess had told us in her invitation that she had a special activity we would participate in at her place. After eating and great conversation, we went to her finished basement that she had set up like an art studio. We received plastic aprons, paint brushes, colors on a palette, drawing paper and finally the board to mount what would be our finished product on it. We watched a video called Virtual Artist were we were shown how to draw a person (man). The ladies said, it would be great if we had a real model. Low and below, our hostess had hired a real male model! He came downstairs naked with a towel wrapped around himself and sat in a chair! He was 42 with a great body. One of the ladies asked him to drop the towel, which he did but kept his hands over his private parts. What fun as we did our drawings and then painted him! Of course ladies wanted his business card. Turns out our hostess had attached his card to mini bottles of Asti and gave them to us as gifts for attending the party!
She found the model at an art studio in downtown Chicago in which he models for artist in a class environment the 2nd friday of each month.
Does anyone have any great party ideas they can share? This was so original and unique. I had to share it with you all.
