My son (27) and DIL (28) and 2 grandchildren Lola 2 and hannah 3 have moved in with my husband and I. My DIl is gone back to school full time and my son is working full time, so I am taking care of the babies. Also we have my Mother in Law living next dooe to us in the In Law apartment. Just wondering if there are any other Nanny Grannies out there.

Not quite the same but I looked after my granddaughter when my DIL went back to school and work to get her hours up for her next maternity leave and to get her Nurse practitioner’s I loved the whole time, and have a great relationship with my granddaughter she is only 2.5 years old but is very comfortable with me, I will be looking after the 2nd granddaughter one day a week plus the older one! I loved it and hope I enjoy the time coming up as much; but I was very tired at the end of the week. They do not live with us but are close by. Hope you enjoy
My son’s inlaws retired to take care of his son while he and his wife work. They seem to be loving it. Would lie if I denied that I had a little envy of the situation. I live out of town and wish I could share the time. However, I am considerably more thankful to know he is being taken care of by a family who loves him. May you enjoy the opportunity.
