Gift ideas for 60-year-old husband Most Liked

My husband is turning 60 in a couple of weeks and I have no idea what to give him for a gift. We just took a two week trip to England and Scotland to celebrate and are also going away for a long weekend. However, even though he says he does not want a gift, I just can’t NOT give him something special. He doesn’t want a watch and doesn’t wear cufflinks. He loves to hunt but doesn’t need anything for that sport. I am at a total loss. ANY IDEAS ladies? The clock is tickin!!!!!

    Couple of Ideas:
A family portrait or  a couples portrait  or  Take a good picture of him one you both like)  and have it painted by a good artist  or   Go have a sexy picture made for him.

    Surprise party

Set up comprehensive physicals (nothing says ‘I love you and want you around for a long time’, more than a couples physical  or colonoscopy :)  He won’t forget this one for the rest of his life!

Couples Massage, dinner and a movie.

It’s summertime. Any jazzfest you can fly to for the weekend?

Grab a cheap flight  somewhere for a special dinner and a little romance, New Oleans, Maine, Memphis, Phoenix, San Fran…

Snapfish and other online photo places allow you to scan in pictures and create a special remembrance book.  If you have pictures on a memory card it’s even faster.  Then you add borders, titles or comments and it’s all bound in a book with a favorite photo for the cover.  Consider putting together a quick “this is your life” group of photos to remind him of his childhood, biggest hunting trophy he’s bagged, you, your kids, his achievements.  Most everyone loves to see themselves in print and it will be a keepsake for years to come.

Happy Daze, what a great idea!  My hubby’s 60th is in a couple of years and I’m going to remember that idea.  He would love it, and it is indeed a special kind of gift.

You are so welcome fischerpat~! My aunt who is 75 introduced me to the little photo books. I have one in my Jeep and a couple around the house. Just fun to browse when I’m remembering when. Another aunt has not seen our home and can no longer travel from Illinois to the Dakotas so I’m going to make one for her, “Welcome to our lake home.” Have fun gathering some memorable photos for your husband’s special birthday :)
