It is not aout being agreed with all the time , sometimes I disagree with me…( not often) but learning what makes you “tick “has been fun and sometimes sad, at our ages many of us are young at heart ,,but really ,some things we have to giveup , like falling for the same man over and over we need to be more concerned about just plain falling(lol) period as I did over a month ago, Thank GOD it was not serious.

Hi fayette: I started on VN one year ago October. I have completely enjoyed reading all the posts and responding to a few and posting a few of my own. I’ve loved the friendships, the advice, the discussions . . . all of it. As far as that poor teacher who climbed down a chimney and lost her life, well that just goes to show you, no female is exempt from getting duped by a controlling man.
Don’t you know it..Thee need to be some Anti- Chain jerking Duping Spray just for women…We could be rich if we could invent it…I surly would buy a can for me and my friends (LOL) I ‘have more to share as My chain jerking days are “nearly” over.(lol)
I’ve only been here for 3-1/2 months (middle of May) which is REALLY hard to believe! It feels like I’ve known the women here practically forever. I’m here just to laugh (no chain-jerking for me, nuh-uh), to bond, to sometimes ask for advice….
Well, technically I’m here because Beth of VN found my blog and asked me to come, but once I began to read (and read and read), I realized what VN was like. I discovered I also love to post in conversation threads, because I’ve made many friends here.

Even if your personal chain jerking days are almost over, if you’re out and about, we’ll continue to run into chain jerking men. We really need that spray, I’d use it. We just got back from my husbands midwest hometown. There are so many chain jerkers in that city!!!!!
I will also be here one year in October….it has been an interesting year of learning about eveyone, how we can be so different and so alike at the same time…..my chain is done being jerked…..I know if I simply say “I need your opinion” on whatever topic, that alone could generate 100 responses…..from heavy hearts to humor, I enjoy reading and responding to most of the posts….there truly is a lot of accumulated wisdom….too bad we can’t bottle it and sell it…..
who knows that is how things get started it is good to have a place to go right at your fingertip anytime of day or night

Many many congratulations and kudos to you — love your contributions to many many thoughts and discussions!! Soooo – are you all grown up now — or still a toddler??? I will answer that — you are a member of the wise-women of VN. Thank you. I think while one of us is learning there is always another one just into the ‘allowing stage’ of chain jerkers. Sort of like smokers — while hundreds are stopping – thousands are wooed into starting!!
