      Hello Olivia

Are you staying warm there in chilly Sask?  I grew up in Swift Current, but moved to Calgary in the last 70′s, and now have been on Vancouver Island for the past 4 yrs.

Hi rainbow pretty hard to stay warm at -42C today it is a balmy -26C. I wish everyday I could be in Arizona with some of my friends that spend the winters there. I spent 8 weeks total last winter in the desert and loved it. Are you one of the unlucky ones getting snow out there?

Hello wyenot…BURRRRRRRRR!! I have heard it is very cold on the prairies.  Have a sis in Calgary, a brother in Regina.  Big snowstorm predicted for today here on V Island as well.  It will mean lots of scary drivers on the road.  :)   Enjoy your shopping.

My how things quickly change on the Prairies. It was above freezing yesterday. You never know what to expect at any time of the year. It’s dipping below the freezing mark today. That’s the reason that I never know what I’ll be wearing. It’s a challenge!

I’m from Sechelt British Columbia and travelled across Canada this Summer ,so we passed through a lot of your hometowns on our travels. Migrated here about 15 years ago but before that came from the White rock and Surrey and North Delta areas of the Lower mainland.

I know where Buckhorn is.  We used to go camping in that area.  Off roading in a jeep.  Extreme camping quite a few years ago now.

      Hi rivers,

I currently live in Bowmanville but attended Trent University in Peterborough about 10 years ago.  I loved the area and often go back to enjoy the scenery along the river.  I teach in Bowmanville which is about 45 min. away from Peterborough.  It’s great to meet other Canadians on this site.

Hi to all the Canadians out there.  This is so cool because I recently joined this site and then quickly thought that it would be great if there was a Canadian alternative.  So thanks rainbow for asking the question and getting us Canadians talking to each other.  I live in Ontario but am originally from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
