This is going to sound weird, but I have been using, with great success, plain olive oil on my face for the past month and having better results than anything else. After taking a hot shower or washing my face, I gently tip a small bottle which I have put some olive oil in, against my fingers and then lightly massage it into my face and neck. I let it sit 5 minutes or so and then any that has not been absorbed I just lightly press a tissue against the area. First, however, I make sure that any excess is massaged down into the neck and upper chest area. People have been coming up and asking me what I am using as my skin looks so radiant. I read somewhere that if skin in oil use Saffran oil instead.
Olive oil is a great moisturizer. I use it to also remove eye makeup. I have extremely dry skin and have been using Shiseido Bio-Performance for years. It's the ONLY moisturizer that works for me. The products are very concentrated. The eye cream lasts me almost a year. It's worth a trip by a Macy's counter for samples. And the face wash..........beautiful!
I can honestly say that Artistry has the best moisturizer in my experience of the last 30 years! I used Mary Kay for 3 years, Clinique for 1 year, Lancome for 6 years and Estee Lauder for 14 years; and in that order. Each one has great skin care products. But as my skin is 55 years old now, the Time Defiance line of moisturizers with Artistry are the ultimate best! They have an age reversal technology that not only feels great (even with sensitive skin like mine) but helps minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and age spots. You actually look younger after just a couple of weeks! [EDITED BY MODERATOR]
I started to use Origins organic moisturizer when I entered my 50's. It is amazing, better than the other name brands. It sinks in, smells nice and NEVER causes any breakouts. It is about 42 dollars for a bottle, but a little goes a long way, and the bottles are recycled so they don't clog up the trash.
I agree. I am completely sold on the Origins line.
I just checked out the Origins website and they have the moisturizer, guardian and cleanser in smaller quantities in a 3 piece set for $45. I think I may try it!
Keep it simple! Plain, old-fashioned Vit E cream! I buy a 42,000 I.U., 7 oz jar for less than 13.00 and it is great stuff. Works well alone or under make-up. I use it in the morning and at night.
Vit E cream IS great. I don't know why though, it made my face itch. I do have sensitive skin and really can't see a reason why it would make me itch, but it did.
Perhaps it's the brand. Some of them have petroleum in them, which causes my eyes to water. There are two brands I reccommend... Fruit of the Earth, and Personal Care. Both can be found at Dollar General... each for under $2.00. Also, a little goes a long, long way. One jar (the size of nozema our mom's used) lasts me over 3 years!
I have difficulty finding product that don't make my eyes water, nose run, etc., and never attributed it to petroleum based products. We have dollar store in Milwaukee, but I don't know about Dollar General. Thanks for the tip.
Most dollar stores should have it. And, you're welcome! I hope you find it! If not, maybe we can do a mail order thing, where you pay the actual cost and I go pick it up and mail it. that would require more of a personal note, so here is my email address... snakerose13@yahoo.com
I've updated my email address to voffengberger@gmail.com
try Perricone products, designed by a dermatologist, works on facial inflammation and anti-aging. I love his products. I get compliments on my skin at age 53!
My skin also itches with vit E and aloe vera.
That's what I use, too! Plain old Vit E facial cream, costs $1.50 at Dollar General.
Dosen't it clog your pores and cause acne problems?
No... been using it for 20+ years and haven't had a problem.
ROC... inexpensive @ Walgreens. At first you will get a burning sensation because it has retinol, but your face will look great within a week. They also have the night cream.
I couldn't get past the burning stage with ROC...I have many friends that swear by it too...Great product for tose who don't have sensitive skin I think
Thanks so much
Jane
Hi--I'm Maggie--I use Garnier Ultra-Lift Pro. All their products are great and do work for me. (I'm 60) Good luck--maggiemay05@hotmail.com
Mary Kay makes a great moisturizer for oily or combination oily skin that is really good. I've used it for a long time and love it.
Can't say enough about Underology..............SPECIFIC to the skin of women over the age of 40. I have used it for years and actually, now am selling it.
Visit the website at www.Underology.com, click on Underology, then click Skin Care Systems to see my favorites, the Kiss system and/or The Enhancement system. Of course, I have used both sets for years, either one or both is a great start............... to the best skin you can have. Be sure to click on my name as your salesperson, DAWN BOLTON, and please, feel free to contact me at 615-268-9722 if you have any questions.
Not a "Commercial Break", but info to try to be helpful. I have to add my support to the others for Mary Kay products daily moisturizers and ease of shopping 24/7 on line. At 61 I need all the help I can get!
As hot as it has been in San Antonio this summer with over 50+ days over 100 degrees a daily mositurizer has been a necessity. I have to agree the MK Timewise Moisture is a great one that does not feel greasy and sinks right in. One of the reasons I started my own MK business. I am my own best customer. Ha!
Another new great product that just became available and will compliment the positive effects of a good moisturizer is Timewise Replinishing Serum +C which gives collagen a boost. An in-depth consumer study was conducted to see what benefits women would see after using the product----89% said their skin looked lifted and more resilient / 86% said their skin looked more toned / 79% said their skin looked younger / 90% said their skin looked enhanced. I jsut started mine and hope to see the beginning of good results over the next several weeks.
I hope you find the right product for you.
Read about other moisturizing skin care products and what they can do for your skin at http://www.marykay.com/Judy.Terry
I deliver free in the San Antonio, TX area and also offer free mailing and accept credit cards. Free gifts with orders on line.
Good luck in finding the best product for you! Sounds like you have received a number of good recommendations.
I really like Clinique's "Moisture Surge" - not greasy or oily, not one little bit
Renew by Melaleuca; passed two double-blind studies; came out on top of Eucerin on all counts! Happy to provide more info, details, etc. Just say the word! Good luck!
and I have that here too and love it for my hands and feet after a bath and before bed...but I just don't LOVE it on my face...Not sure why either
I love Mary Kay's moisturizers, formulated for different skin types.
Check out my website: www.marykay.com/molson4
Neutragena Emulsion
i use revitalift from loreal otc in most drug stores...i love it. Ive used it for years
Discovered by accident, that Hask Placenta Hair Repair is a great eye wrinkle, laugh lines, upper lip wrinkle remover! I have'nt tried it as an everyday moisterizer, but probably should, as am already receiving such compliments as : you look rested, and you look like you're in your forties; I'm in my 60's and have very delicate and sensitive skin. This light liquid soaks in and is not greasy and is inexpensive. Wish I'd tried it earlier, like in my forties!!!
Really?
What stores sell that product?
This is fascinating....and it makes sense that placenta would help repair and regenerate new tissue. I am going to try this out and I'll let everyone know MY results...This can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply I bet
Thanks so much
Jane
Jane, I've never fallen for the very expensive moisturizers so many companies advertize will "dramatically" change your appearance. People I meet usually think I am 10+ years younger than I am. I am presently using "Curel Life's Stages (menopause and beyond)" that I buy off the shelf at a local supermarket. I like the feel of it, and it seems to soak in. I hope it works for you.
N. V. Perricone products are the best. He is a dermatologist and his products are anti-aging. They cost more but are worth it. I try and get them only on sale through the website or at Sephora. I won't use anything else now.
Hi ,I work in the cosmetic field, I recommend highly the Estee Lauder line of cosmetics. Consultations are done and you will come out with the right products
try dove deep moisture facial lotion.
I’ve noticed that only moisturizers for mature skins or those with dry skin feel a little greasy. Arbonne has a good moisturizer, and none of their products contain animal fat. Remember that moisturizers are not for adding moisture to the ski; they act as a barrier to keep moisture from escaping.
Arbonne is a wonderful product. It sounds like you have tried it and love it! I would use any other products.
Nicole Miller's products are all manufactured by Melaleuca. They are fabulous, no harmful chemicals (which you do have to be careful of in OTC brands), superior quality, reasonable pricing. I too can pass for 10 years younger!
I really like the Regenerist Serum by Olay. It soaks right in and I noticed the effects right away.
I use the Sense line from Usana. They have a great eye cream, and daily moisterizer. It also contains 15 SPF. Also it contain NO PARABENS. Parabens have been linked to breast cancer.
hi, new to this site. I found using natural soap bars vs. store bought brands make a difference for less dry skin. Natural soap bars do not have all that chemical stuff in it. My father-in-law makes soap bars from his goats milk. Now don't laugh but I use Huggies Natural Care Lotion. (huggiesbabynetwork.com) i am all into being cost effective and price is right.
P:S if interested in the soap bars I can give u my Father-in-Law's website.
I may well be interested in goat milk soap, yes, please give us the website... Thanks! If you prefer to do it behind the scenes, my email address is snakerose13@yahoo.com Thanks, Vicki
Hey, Rhandi! Do you have your Father-in-Law's website? Several of us are interested in it. Thanks!
We'd all love to know your father in laws website so we can try the goats milk soap bars...
Giovanni "Hydrate" body lotion. I'm an esthetician and I was given this product by my daughter for Mother's Day. I was surprised at it's quick absorption and it's organic ingredients. They're not that expensive either, I found the product line at Walmart!
Oil of Olay is good. I use it. They always contain a minimum SPF of 15 which is good. Not greasy but very smoothl.
I haven't read all the responses but I find that "Aveeno" works great!
Hi Jane...I would also like to recommend Mary Kay Cleanser and Moisturizer for normal to dry skin. I added the cleanser because... if you only use the moisturizer by Mary Kay and then a cleanser with a different formula, you may not get the results you need. The two working together will revive your skin and make it smoother softer with the hydration your skin need to stay healthier looking..you can also use our Intense Moisturizing Cream it is Pink and it will hydrate your skin even more...you can use it every day along with the Anti-aging Moisturizer...it sure helped my dry skin! :)
beyond the shadow of a doubt...dc100 from Devoted Creations. It is offered by a tanning lotion manufacturer in Florida...Devoted Creations. It is a little pricy, but the bottle is designed to last a year and it works better than anything I have EVER used.
Olive oil doesn't sound weird at all. I used to mix it up, sometimes using sunflower, safflower, coconut. Adding aloe gel for a cleaner at times. A bit of noni juice and rice flour for cleaner sometimes. Liquid bentonite and noni and aloe mask. lol. ugly stuff. *_*
Now I use Hydracial Skin Defense created especially for mature skin. It's by Neways. Exquisite. Very concentrated, lasts forever I think, so very affordable long term. No questionable ingredients since the company adheres to European Union standards in ingredients and fragrance use.
I have used Neways personal care products for 15 years. They are the only products that do not clog my pores or upset my skin (irritation). In fact, their cleaners are gentle my pores are refined now. Must say, Hydracial is the best. Resurrection Biomist is wonderful for daytime too.
Here is Hydracial mature skin link right to the page and one to the neways tv video. There is also an interactive catalog on home page to browse through, skin care starts on pg 42. Hydracial w video on 44. Cleaners next. Biomist on 49. Have fun.

The price you will see is rep price you can pay as my preferred customer. No fee to join, no min order, no strings. So you are welcome to shop as my pc guest. Call or email with questions. I love to help.
Would samples be available for Hydracial? I have tried both links you posted and neither of them will work for me.
Thanks so much
Jane
Have you heard of Renew Intensive Skin Therapy? It has been clinically proven to help skin retain its moisture better and longer than Eucerin. Renew can leave your skin significantly softer, smoother, and healthier-looking. It is made to help even the direst skin heal-including chronically dry, chapped hands and body. My whole family uses Renew, including my grandchildren. It is not greasy at all. You can purchase it wholesale from the manufacturer. EMAIL me at imcg4u@charter.net for additional information. You will love Renew.
I have Renew and use it on my hands at least once a day and I have never thought of using it on my face....But guess what...I am going to try it. Looks like I've had something right under my nose and just didn't know it!
Thanks so much
Jane
I have used Lubriderm Daily Moisture with SPF15 every day and every where! Keeps me going in the Arizona sun!
Ladies, please be careful with the products you use! Many OTC's contain formaldehyde as a preservative. Check out yours at cosmeticsinfo.com. Good luck staying young looking all without a greasy, unsafe lotion! They are out there!
The best facial system is Pharmagel...the DN24 moisturizer is wonderful. The C serum works wonders, and the Glycol 8 cream restructers your skin. Have used it for years. Look it up on the net...let me know what you think.

Find a local Mary Kay consultant. I did three years ago, and haven't used anything else (after 18 other brands in the previous 7 years - drugstore, dept. store, & high end.) 100% money back guarantee that you'll like it. You can return it - even empty - and definitely return it if you don't like it! It 'sinks right in and doesn't feel greasy'! At 54, with very dry skin, my skin has definitely improved.
Thanks for the plug, trixie! I am a Mary Kay independent beauty consultant(by the way shipping is always free!) and I have to agree that the Timewise Moisturizer is wonderful. And I am also 54 and have been using it for about the same time as you! I love it. I have oily skin and can really see a difference.
Egglet - I am also a consultant. People think it's all about the sales, but I would never sell anything that I didn't love and use - not at our age - LOL!!!
Jane, yes I can!. I recently became an AVON Sales Rep. At 58 I am starting my own business and I am so happy to inform you that the Avon ANEW Skin care has several great moisturizers by age group, they use advanced cosmetic technology to create all these products such as Reversalist, Ultimate, Rejuvenae, Clinical, Botanical, and much more. I can send you the quiz via e-mail for you to complete and I will create a beauty profile for you and send you back your regimen. I have tried all types of moisturizers, expensive and not so, I think neutragena (?) is the best moisturizer I've found. Iuse the one with sunscreen
I've used St. Ives for years and love it. Wouldn't change for anything!
Absolutely Jane! mary Kay cosmetics makes a wonderful moisturizer. and it comes in two formulas, one for oily skin and one for dry to normal skin. I recommend it whole heartedly . Been using for many years. And I have oily skin!
I like LLuvia it is a natural skin care system that has made a difference in my skin. www.zamuteam.com and click on products look at the LLuvia line, the moisturizer is great. Hope you like
BeautiControl, age and skin type specific
Many face products make my sensitive face break out. I started using Philosophy products and my face looks and feels so much better. I cleanse with "purity made simple", then "when hope is not enough" facial firming serum, then "when hope is not enough" spf20 daily moisturizer for daytime or the replinishing cream for night. I have had excellent results. I love the "amazing grace" firming body lotion, too. I order some through Sephora or QVC has larger bottles of the body lotion and cleanser. All these are Philosophy products.
Look up Hairknowlogy.com
Check out the "Earthmuffin" skin care line.
The green Tea night creme is exceptional. The chemist that put this together formulated it for skin over 50.
Toxin free, and it works. The line also carries a body Yogurt that is simply dreamy.
I guess if I had it to do over again I would have paid more attention to skincare than makeup.
The Jane Iredale makup is the best I have used, does not look like makeup. Nordstoms is carrying that line.
It is touted as skincare with colour. I love to have makeovers at a dept store.
Cheers
yes, Kiss My Face Vitamin A&E
I've been using Clinique for a few years now and really like the face moisturizer. Not sure what it's called but it's the yellow one in their case. The eye cream is excellent too.
Hi Jane. I make Sassy Goat Milk Butter Cream lotion which is made with farm fresh goat milk that I milk from my own goats. Goat milk contains alpha hydroxyl acids and calcium which are known for their restorative and rejuvenating qualities. I also use olive oil, beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, grapefruit seed oil and other pure and natural ingredients. My Butter Cream lotion absorbs into your skin and is not greasy. You can wear it under your makeup and it will keep your skin soft and hydrated. I don't use any preservatives or fillers in any of my Sassy Goat Milk Soap products. If you are putting lotion on continually during the day, you are using the wrong lotion. You need to be using Sassy Goat Milk Butter Cream Lotion. If you visit my website, the goat with the lipstick on my label is Ruby my Sassy Goat, who has the added job of not only being the "spokesperson" for Sassy Goat Milk Soap but also furnishes milk for my products. sassygoatmilksoap.com
Very Nice Site! Thanks for sharing! It all looks great for Christmas gifts, have to make my list and contact you.
Hi Victoria, Thank you! Sassy Goat Milk Soap does make excellent Christmas gifts. It is also great for daily use too! I am proud that I can make pure and natural products that make us feel and look better! It is so difficult to find good pure products that you can actually pronounce the ingredients and know everything that is on the label!! If you order $25.00 or more I will ship your Sassy Goat Milk Soap order for free to anywhere in the Continental US. Thanks a lot for checking out Sassy Goat Milk Soap.com. Have a great day! Jill and Ruby the Sassy Goat!
The best I ever tried is NIVEA AGE DEFYING MOISTERIZER! Under $6 at WalMart! I tried so many moisterizers and wasn't happy until this one...it works WONDERS! Soaks right in...not feeling greasy and even takes away the "scaley" look on my arms. leaving them immediately smooth and younger looking. Its amazing! I tried other Nivea creams but they aren't like this one. It's in a blue plastic bottle with white lettering. It says NIVEA BODY on the bottle but its so good I even have used it on my face before when I ran out of face cream. Works great everywhere! I hope you give it a try! Laura Rose ( :
I hate to "sell" my stuff online but I use face and neck gel from Norwex. It is not greasy and makes your face feel and look great.
I love this line. Hope this helps.

Anything in the AVON ANEW line, the All-in-One alphahydroxy cream with a sunscreen is the most bang for your buck. I started using the original cream when it first came out in the early 90's and have loved it ever since, especially since the scent has been improved! I love the whole ANEW line and originally started selling just to support my "habit"!!

Oil of Olay- the pink beauty "fluid" is the best! My mother has used this for 50+ years and at 80 her skin looks amazing!
Arbonne is the only way to go. It is has a day cream which is a protector and night cream which is a corrector. It has 9 essential ingredients which is botanically based, never tested on animals, formulated without dyes and without mineral oil. This company is made in the US but formulated in Switzerland.
Arbonne has awesome skin care products. It is all natural and penetrates your skins surface to truly moisturize. It's a bit costly, but you use such a small amount that it lasts far longer than cheaper brands. The value is worth it! NutriminC line for anti aging is fantastic. www.arbonne.com
I love the Marykay Timewise moisturizer. I don't notice I have it within seconds of applying it.
I use treseme anti breakage shampoo and moisture rich conditioner by treseme both about four dollars each and I color my hair once a month. I think it depends on your hair and age. You will probably just have to keep trying different ones. I would start with ones that are not expensive. Thats what I did.
Curel has been my favorite for approx 15 years. Affordable, easy to find too. Leaves skin soft until next bath or hand washing, and never sticky or oily. Love it for my legs which tend to be dry in winter. It lasts from one shower to the next. As far as facial moisturizers go, I really don't have a favy and buy what's on sale usually. Avon always has good ones.
Anew by Avon! I swear by it. I have been using it for years and it is the best thing I have ever tried!
Burt's Bees daily facial moisturizer works great. It's not greasy or anything like that, and it makes your skin feel supple and nourished. Try it, and let me know what you think.
I have to agree with the proponents of Arbonne. I have always had very sensitive skin and awful dry skin especially in the winter. I started using the NutriminC line three years ago and LOVE it. I like the fact that it is all natural, a little goes a long way, I can order on-line from my Arbonne consultant and it's shipped directly to me. And -- the Arbonne products kept my skin healthy through a year of chemotherapy and radiation!
Neutrogena makes a nice line. When I was working I would purchase Estee Lauder but now that I am not @ 59yrs. old I found Neutrogena Agless Intensives Deep Wringle Moisture does the trick for me! Lorraine :-)
I was having this problem and just happen to try Olay daily daily regenerating cleasner to wash my face with their refreshing toner astringent the Olay active hydrating cream original. I am very satisfied with the results. My skin was earlier dry and lacked any tone or luster.
BeautiControl all the way! I was an avid Mary Kay user for years, but was convinced to try BC....LOVE IT!!! They have a wonderful platinum plus line that is awesome and does not make your skin feel oily. I love their skin profie, it really does help with the products you need to use! Check it out at www.beautipage.com/jonee
Hi there try Elizbeth Grant Shopnbc. Awesome line. been using for 10 years.
Olay's Hydrating Creme for Sensitive skin is GREAT!!!! Get it at Wal-Mart or drugstores. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
Yes. Dove Deep Moisture Facial Lotion. It's great!
www.ardysslife.com/njciticoutur GREAT moisturizer
I like Cetaphil lotion and cleanser.. it was dermatologist recommended... have tried expensive brands and I've learned that keeping it simple and inexpensive.. works best for me
http://www.cetaphil.com/Products/Moisturizers.aspx
I've used Cetaphil cleanser for a long time. I have senstitivies to cleansers, moisterizers, hair care products. Seems to be an ingredient(s) in many products including makeup that cause eye tearing, sharp head pain and muscle pain. Haven't been able to identify what that is. Anyone out there who has the same problem. Cetephil products do not give me any problems.
Hi Jane. I love Mary Kay Enriched moisturizer, Clinique and also Visible Difference by Elizabeth Arden. If you want something really light, Oil of Olay is light.
I am recovering from breast cancer and the best stuff I have found is Vitamin E lotion or oil. AND it's inexpensive!Good luck
I spend about half my time in Lake Tahoe, it's about 6000' and very dry. I find that Olay products give me the moisture I need. I tried many different products in that line and use about 5 of them consistently. But I do think that some products work better for different types of skin than others.
I find that Mary Kay and Vit.E are great moisturizers. Hope you find the right one for you.
My sister sent me some from Mary Kay that is wonderful. I love it
Aveeno (Active Natuarals) Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 (UVA/UVB Sunscreen) Love it
Avon has a great moisturizer Skin So Soft Signature Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body lotion. I love it, a little hard to squeeze out, but it is great, I've tried everything!!
Elizabeth Arden products which you can now find at TJ Maxx are great. I recommend the whole line and use it.
Oil of Oley sensative skin cream, I use it daily and I have very oily skin. I vanishes with no oily feeling at all.
I use vaseline to remove makeup and Witch Hazel as an astringent. Once clean and dry, I pat my face with cold water and let it air dry. Works for me. Oh, Olive Oil is a good idea if you can stay out of the sun -- it will definitely cause sunburn and permanent discoloration.
Jane, I would suggest staying with serums or light fluid type products. I recommend trying Jan Marini's Age Intervention Serum. ( It also comes in a cream for those who have dry skin) This product boost the skin's ability to repair damage and fight inflammatory responses, that contribute to the visible signs of aging. As a reminder, it is not only what is in a product, but also how it is formualted that effects the efficacy of products. I use this product personally and also use/sell this product in my clinical skin care business. You can read more by going to the website.... www.janmarini.com. I hope this helps you in your search for a quality skin care product. Best regards, M. Snyder
I sure can Jane. I have been using Nivea Q10..it mosturizes really well and sinks right in..works great for me and I have been able to purchase it of under $10.00 Cdn. Lo
believe it or not, i just started using cindy crawford's line and it's lovely. i'm very dry and live where it can get extremely cold and dry. her stuff feels great on my combination skin. google her for the 800 #. it's one of those deals where you can get it deeply discounted, pay for the 1st month and return it no ?'s asked, if you don't like it. you can also put it on monthly auto re-order, or 6 weeks, whatever time line you need. i was surprised by the quality.
Wow, you have gotten alot of responses to this! I read them all, and am sure that they all work for those that use them....after all we are all individuals....Lots of plugs for those with own skincare business too, which I can appreciate, since I too have one of those...and, have used many of the others myself in the past....some of them I couln't stay with , though, because of cost or convenience...so , here, now is my plug....I have used and sold Avon products for 20 years....I have seen the change and inprovement of many of their products....I was there when ANEW came out....And, I have been using a form of it ever since.....They do have many different lotions and creams for all kinds of skin and budgets....I am now using the ANEW ULTIMATE for those 50 and older....I still, at 55 have fairly oily skin and it does not feel greasy on me...Avon's products are researched by the same quality of chemists and skin care specialist as many of the department store products, but sold at half the price because of the in home personal sales....Believe me the price point is as important to me as anyone else....Find a consultant close to you, or go online....if you don't find someone, let me know and I will help...Sorry about the promo., but you like what you know...=]
Aveeno moisturizer
I have found that Loreal has worked best for me. It is definitely not greasy.
oil of olay ...any type.. is still the best o the market...or just glicerine and primrose oil mixed together
I really enjoy hearing about these moisturizing recipes that others use...Like the glycerin and primrose oil you mentioned. Is it just equal parts? Does it looks greasy but then eventually sink in?
Thanks so much
Jane
I use jergens skin firming daily toning moisturizer, it seems to work well for me and it does not feel greasy and it seems to sink into my skin. Of course everyone is different. I spent alot of time outdoors so my skin is dry.
I swear by Oil of Olay. I have used it since I was in my twenties. I am 56 but I don't look like it. Another beauty secret if you have lots of wrinkles is Preparation H. After thoroughly moisturizing your skin apply PH to the wrinkles and the neck area which usually carries a lot more than elswhere. After a month you will see an amazing difference. It might not take a month depending the degree of wrinkles. Depending on your skin, vaseline is a good nighttime moisturizer. Use a good toner in the morning.
I have used Vitamin E Cream from Sam's Club and currently using old fashion Ponds cream. I use it every night after my shower and in the a.m. just a little lighter. I do not find it to be greasy but I presume it depends on one's type of skin, etc...
oil of ulay daily moisteriser is the best
Cetaphil works great and is sold at most stores and pharmacies. The ''CREAM'' works much better than the lotion for me.
It is a little spendy and I stock up on it when it's on sale. It is worth every penny!
I love the Rodan + Fields ANTI-AGE SPF15 day craem and all the regimen products. The night cream is amazing too. This brand was the #1 clinical brand at Nordstroms. [EDITED BY MODERATOR]
Striking Restorative Moisturizer is nice. Feels very rich at first, then sinks in after a minute or so. www.strikingskincare.com The line was formulated for menopausal skin!
I have been using "Sense Beautiful Science" by USANA Health Science for many years now with amazing results.
Their "Daytime Protective Emulsion" Replinish and Hydrate the skin, while defending against the enviroments. It is packed with Antioxidants, vitamin C etc...
One of the many plus is that their line of products has a Patetend Self-Preserving Technology, with Dermal Surface Renewal - simply put - this products are 100% Preservative Free and safe for the skin.

Have you tried the Arbonne Anti=aging line? I'VE been using it for three years and I'll never use anything else.
I use Merlot Moisturizer that can be bought @ any Walgreens. The stuff is great and I use it under my make-up. It's all natural and made from grape seed, an antioxident. It's never greasy like most moisturizers.
Oil of Olay complete spf 15
Good morning,
My personal favorite is Nivea Night Cream - I've tried more expensive stuff that cost over $60.00 a jar but I always go back to Niveau Moisturizers. My skin is very dry and I do find this stuff does penetrate my skin. Hope this helps!
Have a glorious day! ♥
I have sensitive skin, but have found the Lush moisturizers are the best!
I like Mary Kay
Mary Kay timewise - the whole series is great checkitout
maybe it isn't the need for a moisturizer that is the issue. The cleansing process dictates how our skin responds to maintaining it's moisture and resiliency. For any type of problem skin (oily patches, dry patches, blocked pores, etc) try this simple but sure-fire way to help your skin. Take some baking soda in the palm of one hand, with the other hand dribble some water onto the soda and make a paste (not too thick, not too thin). Next, use your free hand (2 fingers) to spread the paste over your skin in small circular motions. *don't press hard. Don't rub it in too much. Work the baking soda paste over the skin and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. You will be able to tell when it is all rinsed off. Towel-blot your skin - don't rub. Next, pick a light skin oil, (even Mineral oil will suffice) put a few drops in the palm of your hand and use your free hand to dip your fingers in the oil and spread lightly over the skin. If you have a bit too much oil on when you are finished, then take a tissue and blot it off - don't rub! I have used this baking soda paste method since I was a teen. It cleared up a very bad acne and kept me blemish free since. I have sensitive skin and this is a natural source that will ph-balance the skin. My daughter's teenage skin was so much worse than mine. She had extreme dry patches as well as very oily patches. It fixed her skin too. Such beautiful skin, you would never know she ever bore a blemish and she is now in her 30's. When my son started as a short order cook, his skin broke out from the heat. The baking soda paste worked wonders for him also (no girly products for him! so he said - but the baking soda was quite acceptable and it cleared up the problem within the month). Baking soda in the bathwater makes the bath so much nicer too - just be cautious that with other products used during the bath, your tub could get quite slippery due to the fact that the soda gives you a wonderful "soft water" bath. As for a good moisturizer, try not to use any type of "cream". It lays on top of the skin and blocks the pores from breathing. Clear moisturizers with glycerin are the best. Body Shop has great facial oils (I use "Vitamin C facial serum") that don't leave a greasy look. Avon used to haave one called "Clearly C" but they quit making that one and I haven't tried any of their others. Mineral oil is ok if you don't put it on too much, and it doesn't offer any sunscreen like some of the store bought products do. Hope this helps somewhat.
Thanks - having my daughter try this!
I have tried everything under the sun...have recently tried Mary Kay and LOVE it....and it is so much more inexpensive than other higher end products. I am 54 yrs old and have just become a consultant....I love selling something I use and love. The Time Wise does sink right in and is not greasy. Most MK consultants have their own website....so if you live in Canada and would like try it let me know and I can give you my website, as I don't feel it would be right for me to post unless someone specifically asks for it.. 100 % money back guarantee...or you could find a local consultant in your area...Good luck....
Jane,
I don't know where you are, but if in Canada, ....go to marykay.ca....or the US marykay.com and look up a consultant in your area if you don't already know of one. It really is a great product . Isn't this site awesome for sharing helpful info?
I have never been able to use regular commercial moisturizers because they all leave a film on my dry skin. All my life I use natural oils of top grade like oliver oil, sunflower oil (use very little of this one as it seems to spread out by itself and is heavier in consistency) vitamin C content serum such as by Avon, fabulous immediate moisture difference, and simple cold cream and wipe off, thats it for me.
Do you mean olive oil or oliver oil? Can you share with me which brand you use please? Also the exact name of the Avon product would be greatly appreciated. I love the idea of and "Immediate moisture difference". Thanks so much
Jane
Have you tried Mary Kay?
I've always had problems with my thumbs cracking and bleeding and oh how they hurt! I tried a LOT of different things and always came back to Curel. The Curel lotions have worked for me for over 15 years! Non-greasy feeling and it lasts till you wash your hands again or take a bath. Not sticky, gummy or heavy feeling. I trust it because it works for me.
A good, cheap lotion just out by Vaseline is their Sheer Infusion. Believe it or not, it's WONDERFUL! (A bit more $ than the rest of their line, but well worth it.)
