Has anyone else used the Eagle Creek Pack-It Folder? I went to Italy for 12 days last fall and used two of these. They worked very well. I put all tops in one and bottoms in the other. They come with a folding board which helps you fold things the same size. I place the board on the bottom of the stack of clothes before closing the pack. When you arrive, you can just pick up the stack of clothes-they are still folded-and put them in a drawer.
I packed wrinkle free clothes-lots of suggestions on this sight-and had no wrinkles. I wear neutral colors so need a few scarves and jewelry for a little interest. On the way home I checked my rolling suitcase and my large carry on tote bag with a zipper top.
I had put my jewelry, that I make and really like, in a clutch bag on the top of the tote bag and zipped it up. When I got home the jewelry was missing. I will always carry my jewelry with me-it wasn't worth much to anyone but me. So annoying.

Right-So stupid of me, I had planned on carrying it, and guess I was just tired and changed my mind at the last minute. At least I should have put it under something! I hope this post will remind others.
So sorry that you lost your jewelry. I always keep mine with me. Your packing tips are excellent. Think I'll give the Eagle Creek Pack-It-Folder a try.
I hope you like them. If you can't find the Eagle Creek-although Eagle Creek is online-, there are other brands.
Yes, I always keep my jewelry with me now. Happy traveling!
