What was your favorite Superbowl commercial?

I LMAO with the Denny's commercial that had the chickens in the Oval Office. My favorite were the Secret Service chickens with the dark glasses and the wires coming out of their ear.

How about you ladies?

Hmmm, there were several: Loved the Betty White-Abe Vigoda Snickers ad....The casual friday Bud light...and the Dave Letterman, Oprah and Jay Leno...

The commercials are all usually pretty funny.  So it's easier to name the ones that weren't so funny.  I didn't laugh at Tebow tackling his mom, huh?  The guy in the coffin eating Doritos -- pleeeeaaaaze!  Lance Armstrong drinking Michelob . . . I doubt it!!

If you didn't know the background for the Tebow one, it wouldn't make sense.  It actually wasn't supposed to be funny, but heart felt.....The Mom was told to abort her son because of complications before birth, and she said no....The point is that she didn't, and look out who he turned out to be....a wonderful young man and a sports hero....The tackling bit , who knows....but it wasn't the point of the commercial..

So how are we suppose to know all that.  Now I can't remember enough about the ad to put a different spin on it with my new knowledge.  Oh well!

I agree, but I guess there was a big controversy about it between Right to Life and Pro-Choice before it was aired.  I don't see what the big deal was, they paid for it themselves...

I asked my husband about it.  He said he knew what the big talk was about.  I guess the big deal is that so many people have to have a big deal to get on their soap boxes for.

I was alittle disappointed this Superbowl....usually so much better.  But I'm going with Denny's too (all of them)..they were pretty funny.

very disappointed in this year's commercials. Didn't laugh at a single one. Thought many of them were just plain crude!

Even the Bud commercials weren't up to their usual excellence....Oh well...next year.

You know, K, my husband and I were saying the same thing. Even the half-time show was rather low key. Hubby commented that there were quite a few commercials with guys in underwear. What's up with that? lol

I did think casual Friday was pretty funny...E-trade baby with his girlfriend(s) was cute too.

I feel most of the commercials this year were a bit too juvenile. In my opinion the talking e-Trade babies were the best; and for second best I would choose the  Snickers Betty White and Abe Vigoda commercial.

HI i agree didnt like many of the commercials thought the Betty White and budwiser cow were good what is it with men all of the ones i have talked to loved the dorritos one with the little boy sticking up for his mom I did not see any thing funny about it  thought it was done in bad taste .

I thought the casual Friday commercial was really funny with everyone walking around in their underwear.  The best part was there were no perfect bodies, just your everyday workers.

Pure and Natural
