Could it be a lime green LLBean microfleece "big shirt" like mine?
What do you own that you will probably be wearing when a freak storm blows out all the windows in your house and you have to talk to the EMTs and police officers who come to help? Oh, and let's not forget the TV crew from the evening news.

My bed jacket. It's scuzzy and old-fashioned, but wearing it while reading or playing on my laptop allows me to keep the temperatures down to a good "green" level. However, I look a little disheveled and homeless in it.
Any number of stretched out, too big poorly fitting sweatpants........mismatched with tshirts of assundry colors and also devoid of shape............
my flannette nightgown and my red furry socks.
My old yoga outfit I now use to decorate in - it has all sorts of paint colours over it and it is mis-shapened.
My bathing suit. I wear it when I'm in the backyard relaxing or working in the garden.
Wow, I admire that....I literally have not had a bathing suit on in probably 12 years -- (the exception being a couple of times when I was on vacation alone far, far away from home)....I would love to have that body confidence again.
Well it takes body confidence IF someone is going to see you. I have high block walls on either side of us and the back drops off down the hill, so no one is at eye level to look through the wrought iron fence. I'm safe!!!!!
yeah i'd have to agree with that one cause due to living with pool in backyard in southern alabama thankfully we have a privacy fence lol but yeah with gaining 60lbs i now have to wear some very unfashionable bathing suits so yep i would be embarrased as all can be having to have to paramedics or news channels see me in them lol
I love my long flannel green robe, with the kitty appliqued all over it....and sayings , like....ready for a nap! And of course my stinky slippers.....
Can't you just see a group photo? ;-)
And the caption under the photo would be _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _?
"We knew better but we did it anyway"
very funny, you're so witty!!
LMAO That would be hysterical !!!! on the cover of AARP photo shoot
I don't own them anymore...because a friend actually shamed me into getting rid of them: A pair of black corduroy pants with big red cherries all over em...oh, and a nice elastic waistband. I loved them, they were so soft and comfy, but apparently whenever I donned them, I was an embarrassment to all....
My granny always used to say, "Wear clean underwear everyday, you don't want to go to the hospital in dirty undies." and I always thought, that's going to be the least of my problems.
I have some very worn slippers that I can't part with. I also have about 5 new pair that people keep giving me as gifts. I just don't get the hint ;^)
My orthopedic bathing suit with a shark fin on the back.
OMG thats Tooooo funny !!
Right now everything in my closet and bureau drawers embarrasses me. I so need to go shopping!
Years ago ...and I mean YEARS AGO. before the people in the US had ever heard of something called Uggs, My mother went to Australia and brought me back a pair of sheep skin boots called Skinny's. I LOVE those boots. I have had to restitch and re-glue them several times so they look really well worn. YES I still have them, still wash them once in a while and still find ways to repair them and I still LOVE wearing them, at HOME.
For me it would be what I wasn't wearing. I would hate to be caught without a bra on! maybe conservative, but there's too much bounce.
My ex-husband's 30-year-old yellow plaid flanel shirt, fraying at the collars, almost thread-bare, but soft, worn over a 10-year-old faded bkack cotton "mu-mu" with red hibiscus and green leaves I purchased as a quick throw on for my sister's pe- and post-weding trips to the beach, etc. That little garment is beginning to shred, too. A beat up yellow shirt and a faded mu-mu (of course no undies under) - would be my most embarrassing get up!!
Ladies, we may have a winner here...
