Post your February goals here. Mine is to lose another 5% of my weight loss goal (4 pounds). Wish me luck! And good luck to all of you too.
Last week's results, tips, and other fun stuff!
And, here is the link for your own vision board that my sister created too:
responses (100)
P.smith. Any way you measure is great. Good luck and welcome.
My February intention is to get back into a walking routine with the help of the "Walk Across America" walking contest at phitter.com (no fees involved), and to lose 8-10 pounds by doing so, while continuing to follow the Silhouette Solution program.
;^)
Thanks trumpnetwork. I love to walk. I hope us Canadians can also get in on Walk asross America. I'll look it up.
anir
We don't have the link up on week 3 to go to week 4. That accounts for the small number of responses. I'm going to keep this up because it should be slow next week. Thanks for picking up the slack here ;^)
Sorry everyone, I put this post up on the 29th because there was no link. Guess it got lost. Thanks Dr.She. Guess you have control. Thanks everyone. The important thing is that we have a vision of who we want to be. The vision board is great. Good luck everyone with the challenge.
How do you download a picture? Is it meant to be printed out? It's really neat, thank your sis for me.
Thanks MG for asking about the vision board picture. I tried to cut and paste, but it didn't work. Admittedly, I am not a 'whiz kid' at this computer stuff! So...help...Dr. She! :)
My plan for February is to make some headway on losing Christmas & my vacation poundage. Hopefully, I will be brave enough to step on the scale, gulp...and make a report!
February has to be a great month for me. It's time. Just need to get that extra 15pounds off. It gets harder for me the more I lose. I did have to go purchase some size 8 slacks yesterday and It's amazing the difference. I was pulling up the 10's and it never dawned on me to just invest in them. I'm still at that 158 mark. We'll see on Friday. My diet includes a supplement that help with the fat. Not a gadget or unhealthy. It's all natural and a product of Canada.
Best of luck to you Evie and everyone.
What's the name of the supplement, MG? I'm in Canada and will look for it. Thanks.
Hi Gradys Nana,
It's a product I get from Meta-Health Weight Management Inc. It's called LDF which is Lipotropic Dispersion Factor. Good luck and let me know if you find it.
My first month here. I intend to stick to a healthy diet and an exercise routine. Armed with these two, loose 5 to 8 pounds. Since I have a lot to loose and it is the first pounds, I can do it!
anir
That's right. Bite sizes. Just like we're supposed to eat. Not all at once. We're with you anir. D'accord.
Dr. She, I love the vision board!
My plan this month is to lose 5 pounds. My overall goal is 5 pounds per month for the next 5 months.
p.s. Good Luck!
Tawnya, 1 pound a week is a reasonable and attainable goal. Were you able to put your picture up and if so, how?
No, not on the computer. I printed out a 8 1/2 x 11 inch copy and pasted a cutout of my pic on it, then I hung it on the bathroom mirror. This way I see my "before and after" every time I look in the mirror. I think it will keep me motivated.
I'm ready for month 2. i've lost 7 lbs for jan and i want to loose 7lb for feb. I follow , to some degree, Suzanne Somers eating program. I either have a carb meal or a fat protein meal . I only eat friut on an empty stomach 20 minutes before carb meal or 1 hour before fat protien meal. Her program really works. Check for her program on line. I only walked 30 mins 4 times a week. and lost 7 lbs. going to walk 30 minutes every day this month, and hopefully loose 7 more lbs.
Lookout Spring time you are going to see a THINNER and HEALTHIER ME!!!!!!! WAAHOO!!!!! LETS DO IT GIRLS!!!!
Congratulations, Itstime! It looks like you are hot on the trail of a newer, thinner, you!! Yes!!!
Good job Itstime! I hope to be posting simular results by the end of the month. I'll check out Suzanne Summers program. Thanks.
anir
THINNER and HEALTHIER ME!!!!!!! WAAHOO!!!!! LETS DO IT GIRLS!!!!
Definitely Quote of the week! (no joke)
Hi Dr. She: Goal for February is 5 pounds and another inch off my waist. Also I get emails from Jorge Carlos who wrote the Belly Fat Cure Diet book. He had a talk with Christianne Northrup about women over 40 and sugar. I'm going to try and give you all the link. It's pretty interesting . . . so here goes.
http://jorgecruise.com/freeemailclub/2010/1/29/the-special-dangers-of-sugar-to-women-over-40.html
I hope it works for ya' all to hear her comments.
Hi dynamomma,
Just viewed the video through your link. It's seems to be a very informative site. I put my e-mail in to receive updates.
Thanks
anir
Hi dynamomma, I bookmarked this and can watch it again. Looks good. Thanks for sharing that. You have some great goal and I know you! You'll get it done.
Yours.
Excellent link! Everything Christianne says about sugar is so true. I stopped eating sweets for the most part in my mid 40's. I eat very little sugar, maybe a piece of candy once a week if that often. But I do have my grape juice that I love, and I love my carbs though I have tried to cut down. But if I eat just that one candy orange slice, an hour later I will feel groggy, grumpy, and somewhat depressed, just overall lethargic. I'm sure I had some of these same symptoms when I was eating a candy bar every day and buying a milkshake with every burger meal. But once I stopped adding sugar to my diet and my body no longer craved it, I now know the symptoms were specific to the sugar. I also had to quit using sugar imitations because they would give me a sugar attack. So, no soda, no diet soda, black coffee only, and water, water, water!
p.s. I have Chrisitianne Northrup's book "The Wisdom of Menopause"; love it!
My goal this month is to walk at least 3 times a week and by end of month be at 5 times. I adopted a very fat little corgi just after christmas. He needs to lose weight desperately too. I would have signed him up here but figured it was ladies only so he is going to have to tough it out with just me for support.
We are going to start slowly and build the distance up. Oh for the record we couldn't choose a name for him and my grand kids came up with the name Speed Bump cause he wouldn't move you had to step over him. Hopefully in a few months we can just call him Speedy!
Have a great month ladies!
Hi jezzarae,
That's cool. He could join if he were a she. Lol. Speed Bump. Precious. Keep the walking up. I started yoga so it's going well so far. I'm not sure how I would share that with a pet. Have fun.
Big Smiles Here! There's nothing better than having a walking partner who's with you 100% all the way every day! I have 2 pudgy pugs! They are my walking partners for the first mile, then I drop them off at the house and run my next mile. (they can't run due to their short legs and short muzzle) They look forward to the walk, so I can't disappoint them even when I'm feeling lazy! Then by the time I drop them off I'm energized for my run (actually it's still a walk/jog... a really slooowww jog) Go Speed Bump and Jezzarae!
p.s. the best dog snack is plain cherrios! Recommended by an internal medicine vet because they are healthy and low calorie. My boys will do anything for 5 or 6 cherrios!
Thanks for the tip I will go pick up a box of cheerios for him.
I'll be continuing my WW program, doing aquacise 3 hrs. a week and walking 2.
CDenver, I'm from Denver. Miss it alot. WW is a great program and you got it down mixing with exercise. Keep us posted on your progress.
Good luck to everyone who is trying to lose a few pounds! Being healthy is a lifestyle, not a diet. There are many good tips on how to achieve permanent weight loss; none of them includes gimmicks, diets, or diet pills. The best way to lose weight and to become healthier is to take responsibility for yourself! Your health is your most important asset. For many people, being overweight is associated with being uncomfortable in their own skin. To assist with weight control; keep a daily food journal and every time the urge to snack is felt, first drink a large glass of clear water. This simple act will help you to eat less. Water hydrates you, suppresses your appetite, helps you to feel full, and metabolizes fat cells. Water will soon become one of your best friends. The major reason so many people in America are overweight is because we eat too much for comfort! It does not hurt to treat ourselves with something special once in a while, what is necessary is that we limit our portions and do not overeat! It is also necessary to keep our body properly hydrated, so drink a full glass of water with each meal or snack. Being overweight ******, but after reading a book, I lost 85 pounds! Words can not express how good I feel! This is a comment which I recently received about the book Lose Weight Using Four Easy Steps
Hi Moongodess,
Water is one of the essentials I often forget. Thanks for the reminder. Since joining last Friday I have posted a few notes in my house to remind me to drink water. I have a bottle with me when I exercise and keep a big cup close by when I work and refill it as soon as it is empty.
anir
It seems so strange doesn't it to be reminded. Should just happen naturally. I have a terrible time making sure I do and usually, I don't. A blue bracelet might help. Hey, that could work!
Great idea moongoddess!
anir
Today in the mail, I received my BLUE BRACELET from Shape Up RI. Now, not only will wearing it signify that I am following the SURI 12-week program, it will also remind me to take a gulp from my water bottle every time I look at the bracelet. Thanks for the idea, moongoddess!
Thanks a bunch for posting this, Dr. She. Lord knows I need constant vigilance to keep this thing going, what with being bored all day from being unemployed.
I have a cold this week so loss of appetite caused me to drop another pound - yay! My appetite is slowly returning but I'm buoyed by having lost a few pounds so I'm going to keep it up. I'll report my final number on Friday.
For February, my goals are to step up the exercise to at least 4-5 days per week and to work on finding healthy snack foods to combat my junk food addiction. I've started buying almonds and keeping more fruits in the house so that I can snack on apples and oranges -- instead of Hershey bars!
Another thing that is working for me is to really pay attention to my body, i.e., make sure I am actually hungry before I eat, think about what I really want instead of gobbling down the first thing I see in the fridge and STOP when I'm full. Smaller portions is key so I've been trying to use smaller plates.
Shooting for at least a 6 pound loss this month!
Hi everyone! I'm going to try to lose 5 pounds by the end of this month. Putting it out here and reading everyone else's trials and tribulations is a definite inspiration. I know I'm going to have to be constantly aware of what I'm doing right now. I lost one of my closest friends and confidants yesterday. She was in her mid 40's and still don't know what the cause was. I am missing her like crazy!
findangel,
So, so sorry. I can only imagine what you're going through. Keep us posted while you're going through you're grieving. Stay focused on your weight loss. Unexpected makes it much harder. It's never going to be easy. Did she also leave a family behind?
Thank you moongoddess. She never married or had her own children, and oh she wanted to have her own children so bad, but she had plenty of foster children. In fact, she was just in the process of adopting a teen. Another one of her recent foster children had a baby, and they asked her to be the grandmother on his side because his mother died almost 2 years ago. And she had many, many people that loved her and cared about her.
I've been pretty good about how much I eat, just doing it to keep healthy ... the times I'm eating is the problem, but that's just the way it is for now.
She'll really be missed and she leaves a legacy and trail of love behind. Sad. Hugs!
Findangel, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it must be very difficult for you to have lost such a treasure in your life. Many hugs and prayers.
Thank you Tawny!
My goal is to do YOGA. And of course, to lose some pounds. I have started a thread for Yoga and would love to have anyone who is interested join me.
http://www.vibrantnation.com/conversations/57146-join-me-for-yoga/
I will continue the challenge as well as the yoga but really need some company. How bout it? Anyone?
I use my wii fit . I program the step for 30 minutes, then put a movie on while I do my 30 minute step. Time goes fast if its a good movie. you can either continue watching after the 30 minutes ,but you have to keep stepping, or you can stop but shut the movie off until you step again. if you want to watch more of the movie you can only do so while you step.Works for me.
THINNER AND HEALTHIER ME!!!!! WAAHOO!!!! LETS DO IT GIRLS!!!!!!!
BIG TIME ;^)
My goal is - still - to get below 200. Even though I ate healthy foods all last week, I still weighed in at 204 this week! But I'm not discouraged; at least I didn't gain! And I did cheat on the weekend by making a homemade pizza for hubby and me. But back to healthy this week, and I'm actually enjoying it. Would like to include walking in my Feb. goal, but we still have snow and cold, so my walking won't resume till March. Hurry up, Spring!
Good for you in keeping on your path. I figure the end of February will get here anyway, but I get to decide whether it will come with me moving closer toward my weight goals or away from them. In solidarity....
My weight keeps bouncing up and down. Today it bounced down so I am happy. I have been doing good using the Wii fitfor at least 45 minutes a day and I take at least a 20 minute walk. I increased my Wii fit to a higher level. I can feel the increase in my workout in my legs this week. Now it is time to be critical about my diet. I like to snack which is my problem. So now I have a bowl of apples on the table which I am allowed as many as I want. I also have some almond butter which I spoon out sparingly if I want something to dunk my apple in. 1 tablespoon can go a long way with apple slices, and the protein/fat helps satisfy better. Now to meals. Yesterday I made a big bowl of salsa with peppers, onions, tomato, corn and black beans, lime juice, cilantro and cumin. I dumped a bunch of this on top of baby arugala and spinach, no dressing for my salad. I made sure the salad filled up at least 1/2 of my medium sized dinner plate. I then made black rice and shrimp cakes with a garlic chili sauce and drizzled just a scant teaspoon of the sauce on top of the shrimp cakes. YUM. I made enough for todays lunch and tonight's dinner again. The salsa is flavorful and healthy and the shrimp cakes were also home made without extra fillers or preservatives. I know I can do even better, but I am typing this all out to reinforce better choices for myself. Does anyone have any great healthy recipes they would like to share?
Hi Kats,
I used to follow a plan called 'Simply for life' which consistent of healthy recipies and snack food suggestions. You can literally customize the plan for yourself. I work the night shift and hate to cook. I asked for meal recipies I could make in big batches and freeze in individual servings. Here is my favorite:
Grilled Chicken and Penne Pasta
-8 oz whole wheat penne pasta
-4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
-1 medium Zucchini halved lengthwise
-8-10 thick asparagus spears trimmed
-3 cloves minced garlic
-1 tbsp olive oil
-salt and pepper to taste
-1tbsp fresh thyme chopped ( I often skip it )
-1 tsp of olive oil
-2 oz low fat cheese or Parmesan cheese ( I use the parmesan)
Cook pasta in big pan according to package directions. Meanwhile, rinse chicken; pat dry. Brush chicken, zucchini and asparagus with garlic and 1 tablespoon of the oil; sprinkle all sides with salt and pepper ( I mix the oil, garlic and salt and pepper together and just dip everything in). Place the chicken in the center of the lightly greased rack of an uncovered grill ( in the summer) ( in the winter I spread everything on one of my my oven grills and make sure I have a pan underneath to catch the drippings, or I put it on my turky grilling thing..not sure what you call it), place the zucchini and asparagus around the chicken. Grill over medium heat for 12 to 15 minutes (oven set at 350 for about the same time) turning once ( watch for the asparagus as it tends to fall between the cracks! I know I often drop a spear or two) until the chicken is tender and no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Tranfer to cutting board, cool slightly. Cut chicken and zucchini into 1-inch cubes; slice asparagus into 1-inch long pieces. Drain pasta: return to saucepan. Add chicken, vegetables, olive oil and thyme to pasta; toss well. Divide among y dinner plates ( containers that can be frozen) top with cheese and season with pepper. Serve with 2 and 1/2 cups of your choice of vegetables.
Yes, this regime requires you to eat a lot of veggies!
Enjoy!
anir
That looks great! Thanks for sharing it.
You're Welcome!
anir
Thanks, sounds great I will try it.
Hi ladies..no time to chat until later in the week so keep up the great conversations I see going on here. Thanks again to Moongoddess for getting this started and keeping it going. I only started page 5 because I didn't see one and wanted to get the attachments to Marilyn to post because I knew it would be a crazy week for me.
RE the vision board, you all are correct, the idea was to print it out and add a picture to it...that way, when you lose, you can update your photo. I did ask my sister to make it a word document, so that you could electronically insert a photo, but she created a .jpeg instead. Since she did it as a favor to me, I didn't want to ask her to redo it again.
Check out this link on diets: http://www.stylecaster.com/news/6839/5-bogus-diets-not-to-follow
I had a mini-binge yesterday but I'm happy to say that I corrected the ship before it went completely off-course!
My two biggest issues have always been sugar addiction and stress eating. Being unemployed makes it very hard to avoid this, but I've been working hard at it by trying to keep my hands (and mind) busy with things that aren't food-related and keeping junk food out of the house... until yesterday. Had a craving for something sweet and instead of eating an apple, I bought a small box of tea cookies, figuring I'd have a few with my coffee. Before I knew it, I'd eaten about 10 of them. Here's the lesson: If you don't eat sugar, you don't crave more sugar! Lesson number two: I'm not strong enough yet to be around my trigger foods so it's best to avoid them for now.
I weighed myself this morning and I'm still on track so, hooray for me. I want to report a good number tomorrow! (^_^)
Oh, I just hate that sugar craving. You and I know it's a demon. When we let it have it's way, it just keeps demanding more and more. My weakness right now is iced oatmeal cookies. Now here's how my mind works. I can have one with my coffee. It has oatmeal in it. One more is ok. (which is immediately forgotten and then) one more is ok. When I actually had three. One hr later, I'm thinking of having a second one again making it four. Oh, the mind is a terrible thing. Who said that?
Tomorrow, I'm hoping that the Yoga I started in combination with this and my diet, will be favorable. Wishing us the best of luck. Knowing that luck has nothing to do with it ;^(
Hi Moongoddess,
When it's not around you don't eat it! If you really want it you have to at least walk to the store to get it. And hopefully the closest store is 2 miles away or it is freezing cold or raining outside. And just buy a small portion of watever. I think they call it eating in moderation or it can be a small (notice the word small) reward for having done a good job all week.
Five to nine has got it right. From this day forward I will never keep anything in my house that is something I can say 'It's O.K. if I just have one' and there are a lot of them to tempt me later. Looks good writen down. I can do it.
1 week down, the rest of my life to go!
anir
1 week down, the rest of my life to go!
-------
I love it! I'm beginning to recognize that real change starts in your head, wrapping your mind around the concept and then keeping your focus. I'm not following Weight Watchers this time but I think the main reason that program has been around so long is because they shun the word "diet" and they really teach you how to eat. In fact, many years ago, I used to attend a meeting where any time someone slipped and said that word, the team leader would go ballistic and yell, "It's not a DIET, it's a meal plan!" (^_^)
The point is, if I say to myself, 'this is the way I need to eat for life', it seems less painful. It doesn't mean I can never have another cookie -- it means I can't have it right now until I gain more control, and when I do have it, I don't need to eat until I see the bottom of the bag. This is one of the joys of living alone; I don't need to keep anything in the house for anyone else!
Yeah but, yeah but, yeah but. What about my husband. They were actually his. Anyway, it is the community kitchen here. I'll have to be more diligent in staying out of those rotten crumbogians.
Five to Nine and moongoddess,
Yes, it is easier to only keep around the good foods when you live alone, or with three cats like I do.
When I first lost the weight on this programm, Simply for Life, I was still with my ex. I can't remember how I did it back then.... Oh yeah! We hardly spent any time together so most times I did not see him eat. One good thing about being disconnected and still living in the same house.
Can't help you moongoddess. This guy you're with really seems to love you though, maybe, if you said something like: 'I know you love me and want the best for me and will help me to eat better by not bringing in anything to tempt me so I can eat well and be there for you longer' How's that? Think it will work?
anir
I just might try that anir. He could use some help too anyway. Thanks.
In February I'd like to get into the 170's hopefully 175 by the end of the month. If it's more then I'll consider that a bonus.
Keep trudging, my friends!!
Hi Gradys Nana, I want to lose up to 5 pounds by end of Feb. We can meet our goals. Here's to ya!
Last Friday's weigh-in: 199
This week: 196.5! Picture me doing the happy dance! \(^_^)/
WOW! WOW! I can see you. Break a leg! What an accomplishment. You have BRAGGING RIGHTS on that one sister.
I have to go in an hr and.......we'll see.
Hugs
Woo hoo!!!!!!! Well done!!!! Happy dance indeed
Hey, Moongoddess and all,
Life has been turned upside down here! My sister passed away on Wednesday. She has been fighting cancer for the last five years and has been a real trooper. We all knew it was coming, but, it seems, we are never prepared for the end. She was a sweet lady, great artist, and kind soul. We will miss her!
She fought weight all of her life, too, and swore that it was the sugar and weight that contributed to her illness. I guess, one day, we will have these answers.
I will be sporadic on VN, but will stop by to see what you are up to. My husband and I will be going to Ohio for some preparation and the memorial.
Good luck to all of you with your weight loss goals. xo's
Terribly sorry to hear of your loss, Evie. :-(
Evie, I'm so sorry you have lost your sister; I know how hard it is to lose a sibling. You're in my prayers. Many hugs to you.
Evie, even when it's expected it's not easier. So, so, sorry. Please drop by when you can and God Bless you!
OXOXOX
Hi Evie,
My thoughts are with you. Take care.
anir
Hugs and good thoughts to you this week Evie. We are here when you need us!!!!!
My goal for February is to lose 5 pounds. I've been exercising regularly but not working on the weight loss part. This month I'm going to make a concentrated effort on weight loss too.
I'm there with you! I started yoga and need to get back to the eating part. I've lost 16 pounds overall and now, I'm gaining and losing the same 2 pounds for the last month. Yikes. Time to break the plateau.
I'm 4 pounds lighter this week! WOW! 148 pounds! I've been doing the happy dance big time! I didn't lose any inches, still have a 32 inch waist! I was so excited I switched my walk/jog for a jog/walk; more jogging and less walking!
I would like to share 2 life changing tools I feel are working for me. The first is I changed my eating habits: I eat Dinner at Lunch (leftovers from the night before) and Lunch portions at Dinner (a small plate and no second helpings). The second is I Exercise: I walk, run, and/or use light weights everyday. Some days I may only do some stretching if I feel my body needs to take a break.
I'm going to step up the exercise routine with yoga and workout with Moongoddess just as soon as that book I ordered arrives!
I do need to work on losing inches on my waist; it's always been the most difficult area for me. Short of lipo, anyone have suggestions for the waistline?
Hugs to all and keep losing! :)
Congrats, Tawnya -- doesn't this feel good?! Like you, I often make lunch my biggest meal.
I think I'm going to make Fridays my 'reward' day and let myself have a little something special tonight. But I'm still going to exercise today and whatever I get for my treat, I'm going to make sure it's GONE by tomorrow!
Thanks Five to Nine, and a big Congrats to you also.
Oh yes, this feels great! I truly don't believe I would have made as much progress without this post... what a great connection to so many women with the same goal!
Enjoy your reward! Hugs to you!
Woo hoo!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!! Well done!!!!
I'm down 2.5 lbs this a.m. for week 5. Yay!!! I'm also doing the "happy" dance. 1.5 more and I'll be in the 170's and that will really be inspiration for me.
Congratulations to all who lost this week and to those who didn't. Tomorrow is another day and we can all start over.
You Go Girl! It's great to break a barrier! Hugs to you!
Woo hoo!!!! Well done!!! Happy Dance indeed!!!!
OH, You ladies are good! I'm doing the hokey pokey cause I didn't do anything ;^((((((((((((((((((((((((!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Gradys Nana, can I start over?
Is this where I report my weekly weight loss? I have lost 3 pounds! My pants are less uncomfortable. I am now 147. I've been able to stick to 20 WW points per day, but am still sidelined from exercise . But 3 pounds is G-R-E-A-t!!
GREAT! I know what you mean about the looser fit. Congrats. DrShe should be putting up the next week #6 with the links from here to there. Look for it ;^)
You most definitely can start over!!
Hi,
Great to see all your positive results. LET'S KEEP IT UP!
This is my first week. I'm at the starting gate...AND I'M OFF! Well the weight is coming off. Weighed myself at work last night and -4 lbs. Yes!!!! 209 pounds, I'm proud, yes proud. Pat myself on the back proud. Good job!
Now, I need to keep going if I want to look good for my daughter's wedding pictures. This site rocks.
Doing daily exercises, treadmill one day, muscle toning the next. Did a rest day on Wednsday. O.K., I'll admit, it was an 'I am being lazy today' day. Eating right, drinking the water. O.K. so I slippped on the eating part twice. My son was over twice last week and he loves pizza and my lasagna. What can I say! I'm not perfect! At least I ate less than I usually would have. Froze the rest in small pieces. I hate to waste, so I will be taking one piece out at a time and eat it with a generous amount of sald, as I did for one of my meals during my shift last night.
I put up a few signs around the house as reminders, I even put a little sticker on my calendar for every day I do my exercises, sounds tacky, but hey, it works for me. I've told a few people I am trying to loose weight, saying it out loud helps to keep me motivated. I have always prided myself as not being a liar. I don't want to say it then have them find out I did not at least try.
I will keep it going....'til next Friday!
anir
I think the sticker is a great idea, anir. Many years ago when I was on a weight loss program, I used to mark my progress on a calendar as well. I'd mark my goals every Friday and it helped to keep me on track because I wouldn't want to have to reset them. Maybe I should try that again. We've got to use whatever works, right? (^_^)
Woo hoo! Well done!! Way to start strong!!!!
Lots only half pound this week!!!! Ok ,shake it off ,l'll loose 2lbs next week!!!! I want to loose 7 lbs for Feb!!! FOCUS!!! I CAN DO IT!!!!!!
woo hoo, 1/2 pound is great! well done.
Hi everyone!
Week 6 is up and hopefully I can get the links up from week 5-week 6. Marilyn can do this for us. Thanks everyone and good luck this week. I look forward to hearing and seeing all the great results. Mine too!

Here you go with the link. The key is once you copy it to the post, hit the return key; that makes the hyperlink active.

Thank you. I didn't know that, until now.
Hugs back atcha
Thanks for the tip! I always wondered why I couldn't activate some links some of the time! Now I know!
:-)
Ready for another 15 inches of snow today? Ugh....thank goodness I have papers to write and read to keep me sane.
We haven't had any snow here in SC but we're having some ugly weather. Our only memories of snow are the recollections of our senior weathermen recalling the blizzard of '73! Stay warm! :)
Why did I think you were in Maryland. Sorry....enjoy SC....!
No worries. Actually, I was born in Havre deGrace MD! We're SC transplants! I don't think I could handle the northern winters anymore!
I understand...believe me....
There's no such thing as "luck."
But the CURE to belly fat is this guy's practice: http://jorgecruise.com/
