Holly Thacker, M.D.
Holly L. Thacker, MD is nationally known for her leadership in Women’s Health, including areas such as menopause, hormone therapy regimens, osteoporosis and breast cancer risk assessment. She is the founder of the first Women’s Health Fellowships in the United States, located at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Thacker is currently the Director of the Center for Specialized Women’s Health at the Cleveland Clinic, with special interests in menopause and related medical problems, osteoporosis, hormone therapy, breast cancer risk assessment, menstrual disorders, female sexual dysfunction and interdisciplinary women’s health. Dr. Thacker graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine at the top of her class and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Society. Dr. Thacker continued with an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic followed by a self designed training in women’s health. Dr. Thacker is a NAMS certified Menopause specialist and is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist.
