I am originally from North Carolina. I moved to East Tennessee about 8 years ago. I like it here because of the mountains and friendly people. I have been divorce for many years. I guess you would say I am a loner. If I am not with my 7 year old granddaughter and oldest son, I am always by myself. I work about 30 hours a week for a non-profit organization. I would love to be able to work from home. I have two grown sons and four grandchildren.

How did you get to where you are now?

By choices that I have made for myself. There are some that I wish I could change but cannot.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am older of course. The only difference is I have relocated and have a different job. Ten years ago I had one grandson now I have three granddaughters. My mother was still living at the time. I am still single have not gotten involve with anyone. I am not as healthy as what I was 10 years ago.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

IN ten years, wow that is a long time from now. We are talking 2020. Sometimes I wonder if we will be here ten years from now. If I am I hope to be healthy and be able to support myself. I do not want to be a burden on anyone. I want to feed myself, dress myself and be able to take a bath on my own, with no help.  

I am having a great time, but I wish I had someone here to have a good time with. That special someone, if he is out there anyplace. Everything here looks good and it has to get better. I am sure it will. Bye for now.   

I love watching Ellen D. on TV. She is so happy and upbeat on her show. Smiling, dancing, playing games, etc. Not even mentioning all the money and prizes she gives away. I wish I could be like her. What she does behind close doors is not any of my business. If I have a depressing day, I watch her and it cheers me up.

Dolly Parton is another role model. She is from East Tennessee as you all know. She is smart business wise. Comes from a large family and is extremely wealthy. Makes great decisions and is loved by everyone in this area.
