Joie

Finally becoming the person I never knew I was. Loving being a writer, ghostwriter, editor. While I have visited perhaps 30+ states, I'm so ready to be on the road again, in the air, or on the rails. Love cooking - it's like meditation. Love my g'babies - yes I'd have had them first had someone told me (you know the line). Miss having access to horses currently - must remedy that. Love little puppies and old yellow dogs. Appreciate details in life that I have overlooked before.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

I ask myself that regularly . Literally, I have returned to MO to be near my two grandchildren. Emotionally, I have experienced more in the past few years than I ever imagined would be the case at this age and stage. Figuratively, my passion for writing has finally had the time and space for me to develop and bring to fruition.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I'm supposed to say something like more enlightened, more free, more successful, but I have to say I'm more cynical and less trusting. (always welcome input on how to change that) I do realize a shift in my views, wonder how they serve me, and hope that there is a better ending to the book I am currently living.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

O, Dear God - do let it involve a golf course, some boating time, a beach, travel and sunshine!

a postcard to my younger self

You have zero idea how much it out there in this world. Trust that you are strong at mid-life as you were fearless at ten.
