my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

I started back to school 6 years ago.  I worked hard and studied and received my AAS in 2005, my BA in 2007, and will receive my MS in Counseling Studies in March 2010.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Ten years ago, I thought I wasn't very smart and that my whole life was a series of failures.  I was also someone who started strong but seldom finished.  By building on my successes, year by year, I have proved to myself and others that I am made of much sterner stuff than I ever dreamed was possible.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself as a professor at our local community college, teaching Psychology.  I also see myself as having received my Doctorate in either Hebrew or Greek or both.
