Mombo

I am over 50 and trugging along in South Texas and I just love it here.  My best friend and I have known each other over 50 years.  I am an artist and love to work in all mediums.  I love creative problem solving and the outdoors.  I have lived in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.   I have survived cervical cancer and Leukemia (AML).  I have a fantastic husband who is battling Parkinson's.  We have 2 dogs that just turned 1 (We are insane), 5 grandson's and a granddaughter age 4 weeks to 5 years, we have 2 daughters and a son that are hardworkers and great parents and they have great spouses.  Our gratitude basket should be overflowing.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am more content and less worried about meeting goals.  Life's short and there isn't time to be anxious.  I certainly didn't see myself as a survivor or especially strong.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Still trugging right along and hopefully enjoying life even more.
