I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. My passion is my art, and my calling is teaching. I am so fortunate to get to work with a bunch of really great kids and actually get paid for it! I teach special ed, elementary through middle school, and I LOVE, absolutely LOVE what I do.

Seven years ago, I met a young girl who was seven years old at the time. She was (is) funny and smart.......... the day we met, she chose me for her father. I had been divorced for several years at that point and on the subject of remarriage, I said, "I'll never do that again!" Well, never say never, because two years later, we three married and being a step-mother has NEVER been this good or this easy. How lucky is that??

We live in Northeast California in the Sierra foothills. This is a wonderful place to live, and it would be perfect if the Pacific was closer! :)

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?: Oh gosh........... too many forks in too many roads, but somehow they all lead right here! Sometimes that simple fact still amazes me!
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?: I'm stronger, smarter (I hope!), I believe in myself more.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: Hopefully happily retired, still happily married, and still a strong, kind woman.
