my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

I'm not really sure how to answer this question...It depends on what I think it refers to. As far as career goes, I guess it is a case of being at the right place at the right time...along with alot of hard work and persistence.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am finding that I have learned many things along my advocacy journey and that I am much more respected than I would ever have thought possible...I wonder why this surprises me? I find that those talents that I thought myself to have possessed, others think so too...why does this surprise me?

I was told recently that I inspire...I am still trying to figure out why...

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I hope that I will have continued to grow, that we will have come farther in our search for the cures to breast cancer and that my metastatic friends will still be here and healthy. I see myself still fighting the fight.

Do you see what you have accomplished? Can you believe this? Think how much more you could have done and how much more quickly, if you had believed all along? Go forth!
