I have a very zany since of humor. Love to laugh! Let me not destroy the beauty of today by grieving over yesterday...or worrying about tomorrow. I love to hang with family and laugh. Love coffee. Had to give it up. Chi Tea is my new coffee. Love to create, sew, knit, crochet, decorate, work in our garden. I love getting up early and go for a ride to a quaint little place for breakfast. Love the ocean but I can't live without my trees and mountains. Fall is my very favorite time of year. All the rest of the year it need not get up over 75, would be fine with me. I love to give. Make things for people and give them away. I'm pretty much a positive person and I walk thee other way when people start talking negative. I hate it when people lie, because they kill the spirit in doing so. All in all I'm pretty forgiving , unless you hurt a loved one, pretty laid back, and highly sensitive to who people really are, their spirit! Giving back.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Hard work! We are remodeling a 1947 Bungalow inside and out and English Gardens. I am not working (outside the home) right now. I volunteer my fiber talents (knit, crochet, sew).

We took a little plain Jane house and we're turning it into an oasis.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Wiser. I learned how to let go of a lot of things! Things that I thought were so important are just a memory. I learned you have to let your children go so they can make their own mistakes in the world. They may not like you for your decissions and may even not respect you, but I have decided I want to be HAPPY, bottom line. If anyone wants to be in my life they must be happy! If you are not happy, find out the reason why.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I have always been the type of person who knows their journey when they get there. I don't plan a lot of things in advance because we are not promised tomorrow. I refuse to worry, I can't live my life that way. When something comes up, I deal with it then and move on.

a postcard to my younger self

Don't take life so serious. Lighten up on yourself. Really consentrate and enjoy raising your children and don't sweat the small things. Take life as it comes and realize that you are a good person.

my role models

My Mother who is a constant self esteem builder and my daughter who is a worrior!
