Lili

Let me say right from the get go....I hate this part. I never feel like I know what to say. That said...here goes the basics:

Married for 13.5 years, no children just "furkids", struggling artist (I paint, draw, work with soft pastels, sculpt and more), 3 AWESOME nieces that I adore, I bake cakes and decorate them for my nieces' birthdays (getting ready to do a Tinkerbell cake!), retired Certified Surgical Technologist and Surgical First Assistant. I am a Spiritual person rather than a "religious" person. I love: books, animals, gardening, art of all kinds, love to read, bake, the beach and ocean. I enjoy walking, swimming, learning about my spiritual path, meeting new people, learning new things, learning new languages.

Don't know what else to say..so if you want to know something...just ask.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

How did I get to where I am now.....wow....what a loaded question.

I got here by way of a long, bumpy, painful road.

Basically, I've been through hell and came out the other side...not unscathed...but alive.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Though I am not exactly where I would have liked to be.....I am more relaxed with myself. 10 years ago I was much harsher on myself...which is not to say that I'm not harsh on myself now....just less so than 10 years ago. LOL!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

More settled, more relaxed, more into my art, better established as an artist.

a postcard to my younger self

Relax kiddo....none of that was your fault, you did NOTHING wrong, YOU were the VICTIM. You don't have to be perfect and you are NOT responsible for everything for everyone. Don't ever give up something you love for..or because of..someone else. LIVE! GO! DO! TRY NEW THINGS! Don't live in fear...don't let your youth slip through your fingers. If there's something that interests you that you'd like to try....go for it! Take better care of your physical body.

And last but not least....you make it through the hell kiddo, and you survive it..and it makes you a stronger, better, more compassionate person. You are loved more than you know...and I am so proud of you and the woman you will become.
