Hi, I am 50 years old with two grown children. The older, my daughter, is a commuter student at a local community college where she is studying culinary arts. The younger, my son, has graduated from high school in June, earned his black belt in karate, and also attained the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts. He will be going away to college this fall where he will major in computer science. I began classes at our community college to become a certified medical assistant. That is something I have wanted to do for ages, after having secretarial jobs nearly all of my adult life. This September, I will be married 26 years.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?
I got to where I am now through perseverance, planning for the future, assessing what I really wanted to do, and doing with the flow. You have to remain flexible and approach life with an open mind.
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?
I am much more comfortable with myself and in my own skin than I was ten years ago, and more confident in my abilities.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself, my children and my husband as successful and happy with our personal and professional lives.
