my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?
How did I get to where I am now? Pure luck. I'm not rich monetarily, but I'm rich with love, family, friendship and health. I'm not successful in standard terms, but in personal terms, I feel I've accomplished a lot. I'm not finished yet... Sometimes I feel like Alice in Wonderland, stepping into one surprise adventure after another, and I can't wait to see what comes next.
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?
Ten years ago, my life was a whirlwind of teens, preteens, volunteering for everything and in my spare time, helping my husband build our home. The time has finally come when I can dust off my dreams and see what I can do with them.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A few years ago I said that by my 50th birthday, I wanted to have achieved my college diploma (I'm a regretful drop-out), finished and published the book I'm currently writing, and learned to play the drums. On my 50th birthday, I extended the deadline 5 years. That's all I want to focus on for now.

a postcard to my younger self

Don't drop out! You're tougher than you think! (Also, start eating healthier now!)

my role models

My mom and dad, sister and grandmothers. Okay, and I have to admit, Nancy Drew.
