Karen S

I've been in Sales of some sort all of my life and now proud of where I've been and who I've become through the years. I grew up in a small town in Illinois where "everyone knows your name" so to speak.  I look at my 2 grown married children and my 4 grandchilden & it amazes me how life has flown by, how could I possibly be in my 50's!  My strengths can also be my weakness and as I grow each day I thank God for the life he gives me, not perfect, certainly full of mistakes but also full of wonderful people, forgiveness and places that I will always cherish. Working from my home office and being divorced this site seems to fill a gap in my life, I look forward to using the site and to the many people I meet on it.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

By 2 different phrases that I was taught in my eary 20's

If it is to be it's up to me!

Whatever you believe you are correct. If you believe you can't, you won't.  If you believe you can, you will.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

10 years ago I seen myself as worthless, it was when I was going through my divorce and that contributed to the worthless feeling.

I feel more compassion for others and I see now the difference I've made for others throughout my life. I have failed and I've risen above those failures and grown from them and will continue to do that.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Enjoying life, traveling and making a difference in this world.  Being a positive influence to each and every person I meet.

a postcard to my younger self

You will be everything you want to be, when you continue to see everything you want to be.
