Renee is the co-author of two books for women over 50, Invisible No More: The Secret Lives of Women Over 50 and Saving the Best for Last: Creating Our Lives After 50.  Together with her co-authors, she speaks at women's conferences and leads workshops based on her books.  She also writes a blog, www.lifeintheboomerlane.com and is the Boomer Humor Examiner for www.examiner.com.  She lives in Arlington, VA with Now Husband Dan and Miracle the Cat.

How did you get to where you are now?

By making a lot of mistakes and learning from each one.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I'd rather say how I see myself differently since age 50.  I am more inclined to live from vision, rather than from circumstances.  I am not a victim to anyone or anything.  I choose my reality.  I am powerful.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Different women have inspired me for different reason throughout my life.  My mother and my Then Husband's mother were models of what it means to go through life with an open heart, in the face of great trauma.
