How did you get to where you are now?

Through hard work, determination, persistance, and being a bit hard on myself and others

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am alot more patient, and tolerant.  No longer need to prove myself.  I have been there and done that

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see my self retired or at least semi retired.  Volunteering as I do now with Hospice and Habitat but even more so.

Hi

I am finally here.  No longer have to prove myself, no longer have to feel the stress and constant pressure I allowed myself to feel.  Here is a great place to be. Wish I had learned to pick my battles earlier and to take time for my soul!  it's never too late.

my role models

My Aunt Fay who learned to survive without a husband, without a college education and with two children to care for.  She broke the mold of her immigrant parents , put her sons through college and medical school and learned to stand on her own two feet when women did not generally do those kinds of things.

"Downsize and don't look back on what was.  Look at how much you have ahead of you.  We once made ourselves into something most people never expected of us. WE did it!  WE can do it now just differently.  I had to downsize my house..." (read comment)
